Molly you foolish woman; how do you get to the post season? You have to win the regular season to get to the post season. As a public commentator I expect better. You sound like all the casuals who don't understand sports that question why the regular season matters. Carson Wentz was great in the regular season but couldn't make it to the SB in fact both times Teddy Bridgewater carried the team to victory. How long did it take Eli Manning to make it twice much less Payton Manning who was so good in the regular season they called him The Sheriff. Every team who makes it to the Divisional rounds and the Superbowl have a historic defense and a fantastic run game. Defense wins championships period!

Darling Tom actually made the point even more correctly. Yeah Philly paid Wentz early and it didn’t work out, but that’s still why you pay early because your getting out earlier. Imagine if you wait an extra year to pay and then the same thing happens, now your another year down because you have to hit a certain point to be able to move on. Always pay early, gives you more outs and you always pay less
