Next to the game against Villanova, Xavier played a really physical game with Pitt. They matched the Panthers physicality, that was the Sean Miller factor, due to him playing in the Big East and knowing how that conference is. This was a heart breaker for me as a Pitt fan, due to what happened against Villanova in the next game. I always wanted to see the matchup of Dejuan Blair going up against Tyler Hansborough. I don't know if Pitt would've beaten North Carolina, but I always wanted to see that matchup between those two.

I remember watching this live at Bdubs in Westfield. Every time I drive by that Bdubs, I think of this game...I can’t imagine the insanity that would have happened in there if that shot fell.

How ridiculous a premise. Should we count all hockey shots that hit the post? Should we call a ball a strike because it is "close." Damn, talk about a slow news day, this was the one. More pablum per mile, from these human vacuums.
@danieldougan2698 жыл бұрын
He's not saying it should have counted. He's reminding us Butler fans of how agonizingly close we were to winning a national championship.

Damn straight! Still brings tears to my eyes!! I wish Pitt could get beyond this level though and see a Final four. Bill Raferty is the man!!! Levance is an icon in Pitt history, no matter what Blair and Young did. Blair will always be remembered for the Thabeet game vs. UConn but Levance got us past the Sweet 16 and that three ball vs. Duke the year before. Best game I ever was at in my life. We we're all so jacked in our section I never saw the final 5 seconds!!! Can't wait for Cameron Indoor

Why are people so ignorant in the comments "like all of that was really going through his head" "all he did was miss the shot no need for all of this" obviously you ignorant Neanderthals but is fucking awesome to understand just how close it was through math geometry and physics sorry some of us have a bit more intelligence outside of sports,sportsscience is one of my favorite segments on sportscenter if you don't appreciate sorry I have to be the one to break the news to you but your stupid
