If you need a TARDIS lamp these are really good, since most modern ones now use these as bases for the lamp

@flyingskipper hello sir, found your channel by searching the Net for a miniature glass chimney for my nautical oil lamp. Didn't come with one. What is the height and diameter of the glass chimney base , if you could sir? . . 🧞‍♀️ 🪔 💡 🛋 🧞‍♂️ 🪔

i just found an original DHR anchor light at a antique store in the netherlands and its a 14 inch one, i picked it up for 45 bux... it was probably used by barges as an anchor light and still has the soot inside.. such a lucky find since you can only buy these dinky ones from DHR today.

Still have the lamp? Want to sell it?

Would you recommend this lamp for inside the cabin for for late night cockpit sitting? Looks like there is not a lot of spread on the light - which makes sense for what it's designed for. Just looking for a quaint little oil lamp for on my sailboat.

Hi Robert, that’s great. I unfortunately never met Albert but purchased Surcouf from Mrs Perlot. I would love to hear from you about where she had sailed do you have any pictures? Are you based in the uk? My email is [email protected]. Would be great to hear from you. Many thanks Andrew.

When you have removed the tank at about 2:25 you unscrew the gallery from the tank fill, then screw the gallery back on.
