The way you hit turn 13 at 100 mph and let the car coast into the turn without brakes and was back on throttle 60-100% out of the turn was A+ driving!! You don’t see ppl with actual driving skills, just ppl with fast cars these days

How do you like the CarMakeCorn seats, I've been looking at them for awhile but worried about buying a seat I've never sat in
@VagaXt2 жыл бұрын
I like them a lot. I am 5'7" and 30" waist/inseam. I am small, so be mindful of that before purchasing. I also drive 1-2 hours at a time, and still comfy for me.
@TimurIskhodzhanov2 жыл бұрын
Boy that's fast! I wonder how many wheels were bent on that day of attacking so many kerbs! Looks like you could take T6 in 4th? It hits rev limiter at ~91 mph, and you were only at 86 mph on the track-out there.
@VagaXt2 жыл бұрын
All wheels were checked the week after, no bends! I could take T6 in 4th but more chances for mistake with a upshift at the exit and also I can have better throttle control when there is less power to balance the car midcorner. Also, T6 is downhill, which helps push the car in a taller gear.

Beautiful car! How difficult was the conversion to the 2nd Gen ABS? You having a history on the track(I’ve been watching your track videos for 10+ years and you were one of the reasons I got a Miata initially) I’m assuming you went that route because there’s a tangible performance difference between NA ABS and NB ABS? I also drive(and track) a 94 NA(originally M Edition) and I’m using the stock ABS system with Stoptech BBK F/Sports R and I feel like it’s limiting my braking(I can’t get enough brake before it interferes) at this point. I’ve been torn between taking it out or “upgrading” to NB ABS but there’s very limited info on anyone doing it and even less on the tangible benefits of doing it. Any help appreciated. FYI the car is mainly driven on track at this point with very occasional street driving. Thanks!
@VagaXt3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't a conversion as much as I added ABS to a non ABS car. But converting from NA to NB ABS should be easier than adding to the car. NB version has the electronics as part of the ABS block as opposed to having a separate ECU from the ABS block (bigger and heavier) Also, NB ABS functions slightly better than the NA. If your NA version works, it would be marginal gains. And thank you for the kind words and happy that you got a Miata.
