Thank you for all the inspiration you provide. I’ve been getting into stitching older patterns/kits. I love oriental/asian designs, so right now it’s 2 kits by Dimensions designed by Pat Zitomer 1982 &1984. I would love to put together all the new flower LEGO’s. I’m not sure if I still have them but I have/had Falling Water LEGO & Guggenheim kits, still in the boxes. I have to look in my storage unit. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡

Love the Lego sets. I have the bookstore also. It is part of the Creative Expert series. Spy books, Dorothy Gilman's Mrs. Pollifax Series. They are great fun. Hi Deborah! Your All Sorts is so cute and the finishing piece is perfect. I finished Hedgehog and Hyacinth, but haven’t full finished it yet. It’s on my table with sticky board and a finishing piece. Your finish for the Good Morning is going to be perfect. The LEGO buildings are amazing. Love the bus, and Galileo. The bookstore is amazing too. I did read Daniel Silva and the main character is an art restorer and spy. I might grab another in the series.

Dang! You're the second video I watched while stitching tonight and both of you are going to Stitch New England! Color me green! You are totally rubbing off on me - I went to Michaels the other day, not because I needed anything, but just to wander around looking for finishing pieces! I ended up getting a few things, two of which are the little drilled wooden ornaments and so I'm going to make some Christmas ornaments to send rather than cards. Loved your stitching and your thought process! Sorry for the length of the comment, I sound like the grandma in the book you mentioned! 1

I definitely do that too, just wander around and see what seems like an interesting finishing piece. I stocked up on those wooden ornaments last time tool. They are so versatile. I love All Sorts. My Grandma always had a bag which is how I acquired a taste for licorice. Think I might have to stitch it! I have been reading Freida McFadden... everything she writes is a page turner, I only put the book down when it's done. Number 1 please.

Me too! Licorice was an acquired taste for me, but once I fell, I have loved it ever since. My sister went to college in Elmira. We visited the Corning museum often; it is definitely worth visiting! I was always fascinated by the process and my favorite part was when you could watch someone creating pieces. Your pieces are lovely and it sounds like a fun way to spend an unexpected day. I actually just started a new library book on my Kindle - The God of the Woods by Liz Moore. It's been a bit of a slow go because I finished the Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sara J Maas just before I started this and I got so immersed in the book that I had that "finish hangover" when it was done. I find I use facebook more for actual interactions and instagram more for looking at photos, especially since hashtags are so unreliable these days. 🪡👠

That's such a great term for it -- finish hangover. I've definitely had that feeling with a good book/series too. And I've lots of good things about A Court of Thorn and Roses. But hopefully you'll get into your new read soon too. That's a really great way to think about FB v. Instagram too -- the degree of interactions. I tend to not find Instagram great for conversation either.

Hi Deborah, Lovely video as always. Just an idea... the door draft project looks great. On the zipper pull end of the zipper, the leader tape can be hand stitched closed to secure the end and hide the end fabric seam allowance. What a great way to use cross stitch projects. @@christineaustin9656 Thank you! For the door stop, I reused the stuffing from one I already had. It's mostly stuffing plus a few small sections of rice or another grain, I think, at each end and in the center to give it some heft.

Great video! Years ago I worked in a clinic and one of the visiting doctors took glass blowing classes. One Christmas he came in with all these wrapped packages and we each picked one. He gave us each a piece he had done in his classes - mine is a little bud vase with an iridescent dragonfly on it, as that was the lesson in that class. I love it and still have it to this day! I also have a hard time with the final finishing because yes, there are only so many pillows or framed pieces you can do, and so I love seeing what you come up with! The draft excluders are magnificent! What a great idea! Thank you for sharing your inspiration with us all!

The glass items are gorgeous , I think my favourite piece is the flower. The glass bauble would look pretty hanging in a window, it would look beautiful as the light caught the colours. I was watching your video with my sister. She is not a cross stitcher but always wants to hear about the books. When you mentioned books about food, we had a good brain storm. She mentioned Chocolat and I did not realize the movie was from a book. I am going to get that coming and participate. It sounds so fun. @@kensingtoncrossstitch Yikes, I got about 4-5 pages in and decided it was not my cup of tea. I loved the movie, but reading it in print was not for me. I think I am just a 'fluff' kind of reader. I think I will try one of the Jenny Colgan cafe books that I have not read yet. I think that will be more my speed.
