i mean, the minutemen still aren't beating many, maybe the boomers but thats about it. manpower alone wont beat the sheer power of other factions man. artillery sure, but it's not exactly portable, and its not the LONGEST range. so unless you were going against say, the legion, anyone else would beat you, ESPECIALLY if with player intervention [NCR boomer alliance

To be fair the minutemen have the ability to crush the brotherhood and their flimsy aircraft. They would probably form an alliance with the NCR given that part of the NCR goals align with the entire purpose of the minutemen, making the wasteland safe from bandits and wildlife for the average citizens just trying to make a living in their settlements, we can see in NV that they are attempting to clear the old highways in to establish safe passage for their own, trade caravans and even random people needing to go from place to place. They could form a brutally effective alliance, the minutemen providing local security for settlements and artillery fire support while the presumably more trained NCR troops take point in offensive operations. The minuteman's tactic is a slow steady push, linking settlements and building outposts within range of previous outpost when they even aim to expand. There are a mostly defensive organization anyway meaning the factions that would pick a fight with them would essentially be charging head first into artillery shells, landmines, turrets and firing positions watching limited approach paths in and out of outposts on the borders of minutemen territory, once the attackers are dispersed they move and claim another outpost closer to the enemies area and so forth until howitzers are within shelling range.

The Minutemen would probably align themselves into the NCR boomer alliance, given that the NRC has atleast partly the same goals, we see in NV they are trying to clear the highways of creatures which allows caravans and civilians to move between settlements. All the minutemen really want to do is make safe places to live and thus a deal could probably be brokered easily, the NCR handles the boots on the ground advances while the minutemen provide local security against creatures and bandit gangs, the Boomers and minutemen could tag team to really spell pain for enemy ground troops. The artillery doesn't need to be mobile, the minutemen can leap frog, using artillery to clear a position, setup an outpost in there, unpack a new artillery piece then repeat to another suitable outpost If we bring up player intervention, every outpost of any importance is usually decked out in a full battery of artillery and enough auto turrets to rip apart any hostile force, less critical outposts are usually in range of said important ones. Looking at the list of fallout NV factions there are no factions that would get in a fight with the minuteman and who would live. Ask the burning corpse of a Brotherhood scribe stuck on the prydwen or one of the dozens of crashed vertibirds how it feels dealing with the wall of guns, I feel the NV chapter would fair worse as they lack aircraft thus all firepower would be focused at ground level rather than split up. I think it would be hilarious to watch some rapists and slavers cosplaying as romans run straight into a landmine as they sprint for cover from mg turrets only for those who reach cover to become gibs under howitzer fire. The same fate would befall the khans even faster due to their smaller ranks House has already made the strip (mostly) safe so they would probably be fine with him The followers of the apocalypse are medics and scholars, they would work together with the minutemen in all likelihood Everybody else are settlements they might be able to get join (like prim and goodsprings) or small and disorganized raiders (like fiends and powder gangers) who would get mistified if they approached minutemen backed settlements with hostile intent.

Minutemen are at the base a militia! They will never be a gouvernement, but they can become the official army of a gouvernement.

Unlikely, the minutemen are not a nationstate or even a government really. They are just a citizens militia, like the zapatistas in Mexico. Their only goal is to protect settlements, they show no aspirations to statehood nor should they.

@@bullshark9030 No it shouldn't though. Anarchy should rein. The commonwealth needs no state, hierarchy is the root cause of what caused the apocalypse in the first place. What should form is a group of settlements who work together to form a directly democratic confederation. The minutemen function pretty similarly to the IRL Zapatistas in Mexico who protect the EZLN, a confederation of villages/communities.

Merci pour tout tes conseils ça fait plaisir :) Oui je sais c'est un peu court mais j'ai pas eu le temps de faire énormément de clip vraiment impressionnant durant la bêta, certain devait être supprimé à la base (aussi pour ça que certain sont un peu long), je voulais absolument sortir un fragmovie avant la sortie du jeu donc voila ^^' Sinon j'utilise adobe première pro comme logiciel de montage :)

Essaie Sony Vegas Pro si tu as l'occasion, c'est vraiment excellent je trouve. Si tu veux des fragmovies desquels t'inspirer je peux t'envoyer quelques liens par mp si ça te tente ^^
