Do these harden? I have VERY flat feet and need something extremely durable to insert into my hockey skate to protect my fallen arch from cramping.

I am planning to get an ankle fusion for a collapsing ankle but there are other issues that I have to address first. Can you Share braces that will provide rigid support for about 5 months before the ankle fusion? for me I believe right now rigid is good.
