I was literally just thinking about how someday, this is how I want to be proposed to (or how I want to propose? We'll have to wait and see, I guess 😜)

This was totally wonderful and sweet and touching and I totally cried throughout. I think this is like the dream for just about any singer and broadway lover for how they would love to be proposed to, absolutely. I was looking for covers of this song for the sake of variations on the original because I think it would make a beautiful live song as part of a wedding... and then I found THIS. The setup, their friends, the quartet, Nick's beautiful singing to her, and Mimi, despite being put on the spot, singing EVERY DANG NOTE PERFECTLY, even in the duet, unrehearsed, this is totally #CoupleGoals #SingerGoals, just fabulous. And it's so lovely to know that five years later, you're still together, she still wants to be your wife, and she did in fact, bear your child! Bravissimo, this whole thing is just MARVELOUS.

What I would do: "Are you expecting me to sing too?" "Okay but you know I'm an alto, right? Can we lower the key? K, cool" "But whyyy jam---NICK WHYYYYY" "I want to bear your chi- actually no, I don't want children. We've talked about this" But let's be real I wouldn't even be able to sing if I were in her position.. Anyway I hope you both have a long full life in each other's arms:)

That’s so lovely, I’d be dying if I was ever in that situation. <3 I’d be so conflicted about using this song for a proposal though as the dissonant harmonies that are thrown in there and Kathy’s hesitance in her verse foreshadows the inevitable break of their relationship. Eh it’s still a wonderful song and musical, and they both rocked it anyhow!

See whist I love the song and the idea of this, I don't think I would ever propose this way because their marriage breaks down quite fast and ends so horribly. However, nice voices and a very sweet gesture. (That one out of tune instrument makes me flinch though)
