From your brain to pen and paper (and computer!)...so rich an arrangement. "Alfie" has one of the most difficult bridges to hear and re-harmonize. You rose to the challenge. Jennifer, lovely & understated, as always.

The genius of this kind of vision is hard to describe. The ethereal touch of Adi Yeshaya's musicality and demure arranging style is just so notably distinctive. And Jennifer's voice and interpretation - a rare & intimate vessel. What a superb alchemy of talent. The AYJO is a sublime creation with each artistic expression weaving one over and under the other into this perfect tapestry. Then, bring it all to CHURCH at Creation Audio with Rob & Steve, adding the gifted hand of a Ricky P inspired production... and it simply doesn't get any better. This is one of the best dream team's ever assembled for sure. My only sentiment is that I wished Mr. Bacharach had lived just one more year, (as well as Hal David) as I would have walked to either coast to get them each to hear their masterpiece, reimagined in such a compelling way. Bravo... BRAVO my friends.

I watch this video everytime I start an arrangement. Not that it makes me play better, but writing feels so much natural and demystified after a re watch.

Another great arrangement and recording Adi. Herb taught you well! Hats off to you and the band, plus Ricky & Steve. Would have loved to hear Lucia sing it.

Not a raving fan of Bacharach but this is one of his songs that I really do like. This arrangement, the performance and the vocals - just sublime. A recording which truly justifies the money I have spent on my audio gear!! Thank you so much :)

How peculiar that I would stumble upon you on KZbin when I've been listening to Art Official Age on repeat in my car. I LOVE the whole album, especially Way Back Home, because I feel it really was Prince speaking from his heart about where he was at in life. This is a real treasure of a video you've made right here, thank you! x PS: Your friend Michael's horn arrangements are absolute fire; I love his work with Cory Wong. I shall be looking/listening out for your string arrangements from now on.

Serious mistake having removed the strings. Bad decisions that are usually made. I think it was too much framework for so little lyric. Exposes the weakness of the lyric, the strings are always too grand

Bass and kick are too close in frequency. Too much boom boom boom. +1.4DB LUFS. Needs mastering. Low cut in parametric EQ. Try dropping lows in your EQ curve. Trumpet solo should have more amplitude than the bass playing.

Did not include any example of trumpet+clarinet+trombone which is a traditional New Orleans jazz band.

True. It may warrant a “part 2” video, designated to woodwind doubling and brass combinations.
