I think the polarities in the current flow diagram are reversed. The current flow itself is right, but it has to be the conventional direction, from "+" to "-" , not that of the electrons .
@erwinresearch4 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. You are right, conventionally the current flow is always indicated from "+" to "-". I have gotten into the habit of always looking at the direction of flow of the electrons. I should point this out to avoid confusion.
@Jkauppa4 ай бұрын
its not unipolar or homopolar if it changes/pulses the current direction
@erwinresearch4 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment, which is the opposite of my opinion (I mean your definition is correct, but in this setup the direction of the current does not change/pulses during rotation)

Reminds me of Adam Trombley's free energy device. The electro magnet/coil design that is.
@Abderrahim11115 ай бұрын
there is no free energy. the pyramids were not generators of free energy but they were collecting current from the atmosphere and friction of weather in it inside walls. To get energy either generate it or collect it there is no magic-free device with infinite energy the bigger the collection station the more atmospheric current you get the more energy you burn the more you generate

Phantastisch! Das Ding benötigt zwar eine Menge Strom, dieser wird aber zu 100% in Wärme umgewandelt. Die Rotation erfolgt damit ausschließlich aufgrund freier Energie.

How does one make these designs brushless is the big question?
@erwinresearch6 ай бұрын
There are two problems in making this type of construction usable, the current-contact problem and increasing the effect by repeated use of the serial current in the magnetic field (like the windings in conventional electric motors, but this always requires a commutator)
@thekrzyszt6 ай бұрын
@@erwinresearch Ya, a brushless direct current design is the motivation(pardon the pun).

Fascinating! See if you can get two of the discs to counter rotate on the same axis and plane of rotation. Twin nested magnetic gyroscopes. Then use liquid mercury and get the rpm up to about 30,000 and you might notice something incredible.
@erwinresearch6 ай бұрын
Interesting! Both the mercury and the 30,000 revolutions are difficult to implement. Would it make a difference to replace the mercury with rotating connecting disks (copper)? Please let's openly exchange thoughts, what would be your expected behavior?

I don't think I can technically implement the mentioned requirements, maybe it can be reduced to a simpler construction. I am sure that the description of the magnetic field and its formation is not correct or complete. There are too many effects that are not fully explained and much more than we currently know. I share your openness to think further.

Those are ring magnets placed on top of?
@erwinresearch6 ай бұрын
Thanks! There are four spindles with two magnets each, no additional auxiliary magnets. A single spindle consists of a ring magnet at the upper end, then an aluminum disc (to guide the conductor tape), several copper discs (for the thickness of the conductor tape), then an aluminum disc and another ring magnet, the two ring magnets attract each other and hold the whole thing together.

Power is solely provided by the copper discs...which are being spun by a motor...that is powered. Little bit of an A to B to B to A just to lose some efficiency huh?

It's like a little puzzle piece that I wanted to add, by now I think I should have covered all the variations
@erwinresearch21 күн бұрын
Perhaps I did not understand the question correctly 6 months ago, so I would like to clarify: there is no motor in the copper discs. The pure copper discs on the outside are part of the motor, which would not work without the copper discs with the firmly attached ring magnets. The whole thing is the motor.

You are presumptuous and/or uneducated. Your country's wire color conventions, are not the only ones that exist. What a great idea to connect the outer rims of 2 disks! I wonder if you could just put 2 disks on the same axle and connect them with a cilinder. You could even enclose the whole setup within a sphere with just 2 contacts on the top and below.
@erwinresearch8 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! You are right with your idea, it is an absolutely logical thought. The question arises if the disks are firmly connected to a cylinder and the current is only supplied via the axis (counter-torque must be made possible, actio=reactio). I will point this out in one of my next videos.
@janhemmer81818 ай бұрын
@@erwinresearch My thought was of course to have the two magnets pointing in opposite directions. I realize now that the opposing fields on the inside will squeeze out through the connecting cylinder and provide counter torque. No rotation will occur as a consequence. Or will it?

Thank you for your comment. I have to correct my opening text, my intention was/is to point out the deflection of the lower disc to the right side (to be seen @0:55) as an effect of the counter torque. In further videos there will be a construction that makes the counter-torque more visible.
