I saw this video almost 8 years ago and for some reason today. This video is the single best thing done by transport for nsw.

The pass needs to be totally updated. Very dangerous in places especially with large trucks going up and down crossing on to the wrong side. The pass is frequently closed due to car or truck accidents. It is not fit for trucks and they should be limited or banned. An alternative road for the 21st century would help move this country forward. Several alternative routes have been suggested in the past but no action to date.

I guess this message is lost on almost every awful diver of Ute's, vans and SUV's on country roads as even when doing the limit or slowing down on a bend, these bastards love to tailgate you as they're all in a rush for some ungodly reason.

Nice crisp video, but to make it more interesting swing the camera to show a rural or an escarpment view now and again, and maybe a road along side the railway line with signage showing where you are. I like your work. I would also like to add, that because you are up front with the driver, why not a shot of the instrument panel showing the trains speed now and again.

What the unbelted test doesn’t take into consideration is a real person, versus a test dummy, would use the strength in their arms and legs to actively keep themselves from going forward. Using their outstretched arms to brace themselves against the dash, for example.

Most car accidents don't wait for you to get ready, otherwise they wouldn't happen in the first place. (Not to mention how incredibly ineffective it is to brace yourself)

I would like to comment on this part of the add, the warning signs are not always visible or had been vandalise or had been removed. I could be doing the right speed how do I know that there is danger ahead if there are no warnings.

@@ec23472 Depends on the make of the car's seat belt, just as it depends on what model and what car.
@Mypenisissmallbut7 ай бұрын
Your best option is unbuckle it and open the door as quickly as possible. Everyone knows if it goes under you have to wait until the pressure equalizes, thing is, that only happens 30 seconds - 1 minute after the car has come to a rest on the bottom. As soon as you can, unbuckle and get that door opened. Problem is often cars turn turtle when they hit the water and end up upside down it’s very disorienting. But your car is airtight enough that even if it’s upside down it will float on the surface for a few minutes. Just get out as quick as possible.
