There was no space there for him. I made countless amount of races at the ring and the amount of people that send it through first couple of corners on cold tires is ridiculous. Look at one of my recent videos in the rain when i finished on podium. There were like 3 guys sending it - where are they by lap 1? In deep shit 😂 there were few that completed the race. Like children on grand turismo… 🫡👊

Nice rig, the set up seems off though. The field of view and sitting position is way off. It's like sitting on the backseat. I did a lot of experimenting with all this shenanigans and it never feels like sitting in a car when it's so far away etc.. Force feedback is also often off when the sitting position and fov are wrong. Should be way closer to the windshield. Then you get the feeling of sitting in the car

@@jordy5625 i was playing a lot with fov - used calculators etc and at the end of a day set i up to my liking… it may be off but it feels best for me this way. And i will probably play some more with it soon ;) 👊

Sense of speed and the curvature of curves(the feeling of curves) is also off if this isn't Set up properly.

@ZenMotionSim I found a very helpful video on setting up a baseline configuration. I was also experimenting with this by myself and I realised that the behavior of the car is greatly influenced by the fov and sitting position. Sitting far back makes it very understeery. While going further to the front it tends to oversteer. Seating height and pivot also makes a difference in how the car behaves. You can make the car more pointy by sitting higher and pitching it down. It's kinda weird that car grip etc gets influenced so much by the setup of the drivers position etc.. Another thing to consider is how you are looking into the corner. Sitting far back and sitting low gives you a very bad view inside the corner. Sitting further to the front gives you a better view into the corner. And moving the seat up also helped me a lot to spot breaking points and corner entries.

@@Bobdabuilder-nn6npbob monitors are 1080p 60hz and i’m on 7800x3d and 4080 super. You can see fps in the right upper corner on some angles but it is roughly 130-160 at the ring. It can go down to as low as 70 on rescanned spa. I have everything maxed out except msaa x4 and ssr off. Let me know if you need anything more 👊

First of all, there is a little ridge, so the back of the car get‘s a bit loose. Then, it seems your reaction is kinda slow, as you grip the wheel too strong. Third and final, according to the RPM you seem to lift off throttle which amplifies what is already happening, due to the weight transfer to the front.

@@mku4 i had high downforce setup so could go full flat through this section. I suspect the guy in front did not had high downforce hence the spin. I was kind of hoping he will be anywhere but the middle of the track… my bad…

If the online races were 100% clean, I would've already been past 3k maybe up to 4k iRating. But since I'm a scrapper, especially around the Nordschleife, I get taken out enough to blunt the charge to a crawl. Chaos management takes practice.... and sometimes its just bad luck. Take a day or two off then you'll be itching to get back at it.

nah bro thats a normal thing in iracing. when someone goes off infront of you that you will spin. i think it is because the temp of the track is at that point high and then you just lose the car and if you cant mentaly handle such an incident then iracing is nothing for you

How large is the install folder for msfs 2024

@@ChasterProductions there was initial download 9gb but i ended up with 25gb on a harddrive and had there 2 or 3 aircrafts added to community and 1 scenery. Please mind that this was alpha and a lot of funcionality was not there yet plus there were only 3 stock aircrafts… in my opinion it will take more or less the same amount of space as 2020 🫡👊

I can only say - if this would be real life physics, nobody would sit in such expensive cars for fun anymore! iRacing has a grip/FFB issue and is just lucky, that people think this is realistic! :D

iRacing isnt a waste of time at all, that just was a bad reaction. Shit like this just happens, that's racing. People are driving 24h of Le Mans irl and crash out the last few hours, sometimes because of others, it happens. Racing isn't easy.

i didn't have any flags at all... not on the screen nor on the iflags on a side of the monitors and the Porsche was kind of hidden behind the Ferrari - it also disappeared for a tiny bit which added to the confusion

well, yeah, there was another car behind me that went straight on grass and made it through this way but i had like 3 or 4 races on the ring recently where this kind of things were happening on the first lap... in some cases if you brake in such case and the guy behind doesn't see it coming or is not aware of the situation in front then he rear ends you and you're done too...

@@b6s4shelter there is more movement using the same profile as in 2020. It also has nice weather profile called „light thunderstorm” which throws this little xcub around but that was available already through 3rd party weather addons. In general i believe there is no other option than to upgrade to 2024. Also, old addons when put into new community folder were working mostly.

That was good race. I’m in safety rating harvesting mode now as i got down to A1.5 so i try to not push too hard hence i let the Porsche go at one point but i’m up to A3.0 now so all good. Thanks! 🫡👊

This was a fun race. I was up in the silver car McLaren. One thing to note (and I’m not claiming to be the fastest) is that you can go full throttle through the S turn on the back. Looks like you started getting it figured out as well as the turn. It’s just timing and getting on the right line. There were a couple turns there in the middle where you dropped down one gear lower than you need which allows you to keep some momentum up without shifting the weight to the back too soon.

@@brad6440 yeah, variante ascari was the weakest point especially with the long straight ahead… in both lesmos i knew i could down shift one gear less but i was affraid of having too much speed and going off the track - going down one gear is kind of assurance for me to make the turn if that makes sense… don’t want to make excuses but i had the intention to harvest some safety rating during that race but it was really good so i gradually started to feel competitive 😂 thanks for comments 🫡👊
