its been 6 yrs, has the POV improved? Is it really that one can carry a FPV drone anywhere and just take off to really see everything in range around him from all angles like a bird? Or are there limitations?

Good day Sir!! I'm about to embark on the same journey, putting on of these together. The wife bought this for me today. Probably because she was tired of listening to me complain. I have a few questions about setting this thing up. Unfortunately, I do not have a slab or even a paved driveway. I was thinking of putting in some concrete pilings, one on each corner. So there's actually something holding the thing down. Do you think that would work, or is it just overkill? To get off the dirt. I was going to level the ground, put some crushed rock down, then 12X12 pavers, then some of those good pallets (the blue ones), and then topped of with floor decking. Honestly it sounded like a good idea, till I typed it out. Then later on down the road, actually dry the thing in and put a proper roof on it. I know it sounds like a lot. But as things sit atm, I'm not going to be able to afford to build a proper shop for a while. All the pallets I'm getting for free and I already have a good size pile of crushed rock. Since you have and have used one of these. Your the bast person to ask if it's worth my time. I'm a medically retired mechanic. I'm about to replace the motor in the wife's Jeep and then do a body off restoration of a 1972 F100. So I REALLY need a work space that gets me off the ground and out of the weather, kinda. Anyway, I'm sorry this is so long winded. Your opinion and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Apologies for any typing errors.

This stuff is terrible! Complete waste of time and money. They want you to peel it off, then stick it back on the paper. Which is harder than it sounds. Then it wrinkles when you apply it to the drum. I had to tear it off and now I'm looking for a new wrap for my drums.

Oh man I loved your video, I'm starting learning drums and i'm also left handed, fortunately I got a master that is left handed and is a really good drummer (Robinson Deathhammer from Savagge aggression), this video gave me much more confidence in that I'm doing the right thing by learning this intrument, I am gonna go right away to your video about your drums set up because I need that left handed double bass pedal!!! It is not the same not being able to use the hi hat pedals because in a right handed drums set up moved sideways to play left handed it is almost imposible to reach the pedal, please show more videos about how to place your setup as a left handed, and spanish subtitles might be useful to reach more people, salutations from Colombia!

I’m left handed and started playing drums last year. I’m used to adapting to use right hand over the years so I just decided to leave the drum kit set up right handed. Luckily base pedal felt normal for my right leg which to me is the hardest part of learning drums. I do feel having a ride cymbal on both sides would be nice so maybe I’ll get that eventually

i recently taught a 5 year old boy in an early beginner drum class, at first i didn't realize the little boy was a lefty. the electric drum set was set for a righty. it took a while for me to realise the little boy was a lefty, because every time the kick pedal kicked in, the little boy was trying so hard to get in to the beat. i was thinking to my self at that time probably the drumming lesson was pretty hard for the little boy to take in. until his parents told me a story that they once played badminton with his boy and they experienced the same thing. the badminton playing was better with left hand. form that moment on, we agreed to set the drum mirror to the right only for the little boy. sigh.

This stuff does not hold up in the sun (which I find ironic, considering it's made for outdoor signs). I wrapped an entire drum set with just one roll, it went on easy and looked great. Then, as I was setting up the set in my garage I moved the floor tom into the sun to move things around, and within 10 minutes the wrap started to wrinkle. I moved it back into the shade and about 15 minutes later it leveled out again. It was only about 70 degrees outside, with no humidity, so it's not like it was a scorching day. I've resigned myself to the fact I either have to only use the kit indoors (which will be tough since 3/4 of my Summer gigs are outdoors), or spend a ton on legit drum wrap. I guess it's a great option if you're only going to set up your kit in your basement or studio; if you plan on gigging outdoors, not so much.
