The WiFi, according to the JBL tech I just got off the phone with, apparently only works with streaming services, not with your own files. You can not, for example, play your own files from your own device using the wifi on your computer as a hub. That means if you are not willing to "subscribe" to those streaming services, the wifi is about as useful as a cereal box.

One complaint I see is that the matte finish affects the blacks a little bit. Lifts the blacks or slight graying. You see that?

Yeah, the lights are cool and yeah, the tom-tom sound when you power on are cool… But is it possible to completely disable the sound and light effects when you turn these guys on? haven’t figured it out yet and I’m planning to use these as professional monitors in a band setting. Great little speakers, but has too many party tricks that don’t seem very optional… Please help!

Bought this soundbar 8 months ago. The best sound footage to check its Dolby Atmos power is Top Gun 2022 and specifically the first minutes scene witn Edd Harris and the aerofighter flyiing above your head. This bar gives an incredible atmos experience in this specific moment.

Same here, that's what made me look for a video on the food processor. I just watched him do it on the video...hold handle and unclick by moving bowl anti clockwise..to the right not the left😅

That's definitely an issue for the discerning ear with bluetooth connectivity - however you can still connect via RCA AUX cable included in the box

Just a FYI, I purchased two Authentics 500 only to find out you CANNOT pair them together for stereo mode as advertised. JBL support said they are aware of the problem and it should be corrected in a future firmware update but they had no idea when that would happen. Not happy.

I have the Wacom One... I'm dreaming of Cintiq since forever, but they are so damn expensive, The pens are pretty great on any Wacom, but the touch screen and customisability make this into a really unique tool. Imo nothing so far comes close to Wacom, the way they feel...

Tricky. They're both amazing speakers so it depends where and how you're using them. If you already have other Sonos already I'd go with the Era 300 but when it comes to stand-alone speakers that can do it all, the JBL is more versatile and has a more organic sound@@stevendavies3379

I bought az80 last week，but the left earbud with the noise-cancelling and ambient sound modes enabled, there is noticeable wind noise. how about yours ？ cheers

Didn't know you could have both enabled. Anyway, I tried different ear tips supplied. Mind it each ear may fit a different size. Once I got the right fit, the overall performance went up. Especially, the bass sound quality :-)

I have an LG C1 OLED and I can easily say that it is the best improvement in screen technology since flat panels were introduced. The colors pop, the dark scenes are inky black and the refresh rates have doubled with HDMI 2.1 and these improvements are inherent across brands with OLED.
