Sports are a big part of my life. There is alot more to it than liking one player and hating another. It’s a science. An art. It has rich statistical properties. And intricate equations for calculating efficiency. It’s great. Don’t understand how it’s objectively “boring” at all.

Also remember that food is the least important part of the meal. Be there for the people and have conversation, show that you're there to mingle, and not to charge into your food! It is ok to quickly run to the convenience store and munch on a snack before/after. Etiquette is mostly built around tradition, respect and easing comunication! (For example, slurping and messy eating is disruptive to a conversation). P S.: napkins are to be folded and neatly placed on your lap, this will catch crumb and keep the table clear.

As a software engineer, “fast paced” is a green flag. It means there isn’t a grueling formal process to implement everything. If I have an idea, I propose it, we agree it’s a good feature, and boom, it’s implemented. And customers see it in the next update

Having a president who is clearly suffering from a neural-degenerative disease, and was only elected because "boo who orange man says mean things", is probably the most embarrassing thing I've ever experienced as an American. I can't believe I served in Afghanistan and Iraq to defend a country that is now this far gone.
