We don't know the canon ending. But this is the hardest ending to get and in my view the true ending.

...that's not what he said to me...that's not what he said to me at all...he'd recognized i'd made a friend. he understood that. he'd recognized that Ayre had become someone i trusted. This just further proves my theory that his dialogue changes based on what you do along the way to this point...ugh i wish i'd saved my fight against him way back when...

Been playing this game again recently and having a blast once more. I stg this has to be one of the hardest fights, not for skill but for emotions’ sake. Walter deserved so much better, especially since what he wanted for you was to be free. Would’ve been nice to have an ending where Ayre and Walter both live instead of having to pick between the two. Awesome job, you totally crushed the boss fight!

@@anmolsharma4965 he does that on every difficulty. I just killed him too fast on this run. His sword dash only hits once with no follow ups below SOS and he clearly does the follow ups here. This is SOS.

I heard the script for this entire game was written in 6 months, and I believe it. The anime did a much better job at adapting this case

The phrase is "Selling like Hotcakes", the difference between Pancakes and Hotcakes being hotcakes are denser while Pancakes are fluffier. As for why they sold quick, simply folks didn't want them cold so.

Sorry I'm personally done with the game. I'm not going to redownload the entire 100gb thing to make more videos of it. If you have trouble with hard mode, give Barret Chakra, HP materia and a high defense accessory. Pop lifesaver at the start of every battle and it will make your team harder to kill. Barret becomes the only HP meter you need to worry about and you can refill it with Chakra easily when it gets low. Keep in mind that's not going to be a perfect solution for every battle. You will still need to experiment with different party builds for each major boss fight.

Thank you so much for this guide. I was getting frustrated with how the other guides were too complicated and not working for me. Even though I died the first time using your strategies, i knew this was the method that would work for me since i finally made progress with his gettinf his health down. It was just a matter of learning his patterns, and after a few attempts i finally killed him. On to gilgamesh and his island. Thanks man.
