This was a very nice lecture. Thank you for hosting it. I'm curious as to the ramifications of 16th-19th century climate change on the plantation economy and the fates of enslaved people. Did they suffer even more because harvests were poor?

HECK YEA!!! I'd spend 7 years to find Moutain X, too!!! Definitely a lot of Mountain Dew would be needed for the journey

Hello, dear, I am analyzing your KZbin channel and saw that your videos are adorable and very helpful. People are very fond of it. You have enough of the videos but your video is not getting views because of some problem with your Channel. Your VIDEO SEO score is very poor (0% out of 100). SEO is the most important of any KZbin Channel. You need to optimize your channel for better results. If the videos are full of SEO and update the videos then the views of the video and the channel subscribers will increase. If you want to Solve this problem and Best SEO Score to rank your video then I can do it. you can discuss with me.

Mara's comment about reading the book and feeling immersed into this magical place called New Orleans. it was the same for me. And then coming face to face with NOLA and feeling like you had already been there because of how well, Anne Rice spins her tale. I too came to NOLA when my husband had a conference. It was great because as he was away working, I took myself to all the sites, alone and I was so happy to just dive into all of it. I later took him back to some, but for some reason, I just wanted to be on my own the first experience. to become lost in her world, if you will. Cant wait to be back later this month and do it all again. Thank you so much for this fantastic gathering. All her fans need to see this!

Anyone can become a member of the museum. If you join at a level of $100 or more you can access NARM benefits which allow you to visit a large list of museums around North America. For those outside of New Orleans who are unable to use the membership to visit Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses often, the benefit of being able to visit museums near them may be of interest.

Beautiful house/museum. Would be awesome to see it a bit slower without zooming between rooms but this was a great tour. Thanks for making this video.

Wow this documentary is amazing! Lots of links to history and nuggets of truth for further reading and for me to explore in my work. I would love the name of the cookbook mentioned in the documentary.
