This comment is not a hate comment, at all. It's about what I've seen going on in the comments and what is mentionned in the video too. You shouldn't be so enforcing toward others with your opinion in the ways I've seen you do it. You are allowed to think it's boring, absolutely. You are allowed to not like it and hold a strong opinion on it. But you are making it sound like it is boring and that everyone against this thought must be wrong. It is your opinion, but it is not a boring update on its own, but one you think and interpret as being it. Don't judge others telling them they must be kids if they like fishing or this update and judging them for playing games that you define as childish (including Mario, Zelda and other titles I've seen brought up), that is not constructive and can be seen by others as immature. Some persons with medical conditions such as being disabled, having anxiety or others may find peace in simple, calm, reassuring activities such as fishing. Please allow them to find the update awesome, allow them to be happy without invalidating them. Also to remember, Hello Games saw in fishing their vision of No Man's Sky, and we play No Man's Sky for what it is, not what we want it to be. U think space games, u think fishing right? HG should be careful on porting LNF to NMS or we will end up with dragons, horses, campfire...I know it's free, but I rather pay for space content.

I believe there will be water giants given we won't get gas giants, it's the next best thing. Would be awesome if we could fish for Creatures & display them but also have the option to ride the bigger ones underwater perhaps to certain depths (if there is a bigger submarine we get to use then it should be earned, so can use creatures to dive certain depths if the sub ain't crafted or unlocked yet) would also be cool to have an the ability to craft an actual space - fishing trauler/submarine 2in1n. But that's all extra stuff. I just hope we get to display the creatures & tame the bigger ones.

It looks like they are out of ideas, they copy the idea of fishing from other games. And the same reaction is given by the community's in general. Not many of us likes fishing.. it will die in game as soon you have the objectives. And thanks for the video. keep on doing... :)

Before i Spend all that time Starting all over For another expedition (Again) I wanna know if that Jetpack actually lets you Move easier underwater, or if it's just Cosmetic? And all the unlockable underwater parts, are they all just posters? or is there actually New Building parts like floors, Roofs, etc? An expedition isn't a fun experience so i wanna know if it's worth all my time (And because we start over with nothing, it obviously takes more time) and even if the rewards are worth it, Let's wait a few weeks before we try, because there's obviously gunna be Bad bugs and glitches like usual

Think more enemies or enemy faction would be good or have the 3 races start doing things lile vykeen go on patrols and gek build banks or something to do with trade and the korvex go exploring

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of fishing. It's super boring. I am thankful for one thing: no fishing mini-game. There's one expedition quest where you have to fish in waters 45u's down, so I just dug down and then flattened an area and finished the quest. LOL. I can't be asked to go swimming for deep water. I don't have the ship technology to land on water.

What we need is a bounty hunter update. To hunt bounties and collect heads. Dreadnaught battles, time travel machine!! More ruins to explore able to change your existing ships and paint them. Need dangerous bios dense jungles, fix the building glitches, build a space station to dock your ships. Fix the settlement to were you talk to the citizens so you can investigate the disputes, current system sucks. Do localized damage in spaceship battles that affect how ship performs and functions. A robot to take on the spaceships to do repairs on ship while flying

I been fishing different planets since the update. It's not bad, I mean come on. How much time you spent shooting a laser at rocks lol. I've even caught a multi-tool upgrade lol. You sure won't be board in that skiff in the ocean during an extreme wind storm lol. I read that it was a relaxing we to fish safe from the weather when I logged in. Not!!! The skiff is worthless in a storm. You get tossed out, Then I think I was in cyclones and it kept picking me up out of the skiff and blowing me away. That things like a blow up float in a storm lol. I fished off my starship with the water landing. The cold storage I thought would be great. There one on each side, but they are connected and only give 10 slots right now so I can't find a single reason to use the skiff. Just fish off your ship with water thrusters. Much safer. I will say I only started a month ago and did the expedition in the last week. All the fighting bugs was fun and I looked forward to more. This sounds way more laid back and far less exciting. I don't mind the fishing, but wasn't really expecting the expedition to be mostly fishing.

I agree, have a s class dreadnaught with guns all over it and can’t use it in battle, what’s the point of all the guns. What’s next transgender clothing!

It's impossible for every update to be a winner for all some will like it some won't but what we should be glad about is that they are still putting out content for free and trying to improve the game .

I think that you would be surprise how many people like to fish in there favorite games. Just think about how many games have added fishing :)

Very disappointed with this update. Its something ill try maybe once or twice and thats it. Lots of other things they could have brought us. Something like making all past expeditions available for people. Disappointing update

My kind of update! I'm all for it! :D It makes my cabin base I made a few months back well worth it! Also I get to update my Paradise Bay Resort base with all of this! :D

in the data mined stuff, there is files for revamped ancient structures, my guess is that is whats coming, the giant statue, possibly different interactions with ruins, and possibly purple planets. This would explain the amphora emoji.

I can't wait to continue not trading in nms. So boring, I hope it's almost anything else.

This could be a settlement update too. Ancient pottery is often recovered from dig sites and displayed in museums.
