So sick! You rip! Are those Sender Squads or 104? Has to be Squads, no? How big are you? Black Ops 118's are my favorite ski of all time and I keep on buying backup pairs lol. I love heavy, long radius, damp, and high speed limit skis... but playful with force (which is how you make it look) and roughly -6cm from center. I really want to pull the trigger on a pair of used ones I can grab, but worried the length will make me limited in how I use them at 5'9 150 (all my skis are 185-190), ski at Alta/Bird, love charging and just looking for good snow. Blister makes me think they could work. How demanding? If they're Squads, what are your thoughts personally? because in a lot of ways, we ski similarly... 3:44-4:08 is exactly what I mean. How would they have done that line a day or two later with firmer chop and less snow? If you end up saying these are 104's, I'm sooo impressed.
@lord_gnarquaad
@lord_gnarquaad Ай бұрын
Thanks dude! Ya these are the Sender Squad. Keen eye! I'm a bit over 6' and weigh about 160. My favorite thing about the Sender Squad is that it's very stable and strong without being overly demanding. They crush chop like nobodies business and all you have to do is stand on em and let er eat! Mine are mounted on the "progressive" line putting them at -4 from center. I probably would have put them at -6, but I was reusing previous mount holes. Definitely pull the trigger if you can find a pair. They're getting hard to find and have been discontinued by Rossi.

@@lord_gnarquaad Appreciate the response. I hurt my knee this year, otherwise would've already pulled the trigger... this sounds like the ultimate no speed limit, damp and plush ski that would be incredible for what I want. That's my debate right now: either get a more playful/easier ski for next year while I recover, or just go crazy hard with PT and strength (which I'll do regardless) and get the Squads, since like you say this is the last year and I know I'd love them. Edit: Decided to pull the trigger. Thank you for finally making me do it. Hoping my knee gets back to 90-100% and I can rip them hard next season. Can't wait.
@lord_gnarquaad
@lord_gnarquaad Ай бұрын
@fastpass4578 Sorry about your knee, man. Hope recovery goes well! I spent most of last year on the 192cm M-Free 108, and that ski was fkn awesome and easier going than the Sender Squad. Definitely would be a good one to pick up while you get back to full strength. I love talking skis, so feel free to message me with questions. If insta is easier, my username is the same as on here.

@@lord_gnarquaad Thank you man! Much appreciated. I continued to finish the season but couldn't really make hard right slashes or jump without perfect transition on the landing. Have the MRI and finally am seeing the orthopedic surgeon next week. Dude, I'm a huge ski nerd too. I never got the chance to demo this year, so never bought, but either the M Free 192's or Sender 110's 191's are likely my next purchase (just wish they were 187's)... have you skied the Sender 110's? I just have too many skis as is, but last night when I pulled the trigger, I was watching gopro footage before I got hurt, and realized that those would clearly fill a gap in the quiver as a specialty ski for super charging soft snow after a storm. Where did you mount the M Free's?
@lord_gnarquaad
@lord_gnarquaad Ай бұрын
@fastpass4578 For what it's worth, the 192 MF 108 measures just under 190cm and has substantial tip and tail taper. It skis more like a 185ish ski than a 192. I had mind mounted on the line (-8) and wouldn't change anything. I wasn't able to get on the BO110, but it does peak my interest.
