We have not had any complaints about extra heat building up. Heat can still exit from the sides of the machine.

No theres not audio on this one because filmed it while shop is in production and very loud. Starting filming after hours on later models.

Yes the same skid plate works on the 1000X and 1000R.

How do you install the trailing arm guards? Is there a video? Do you have to dill into the trailing arm to install the bolts?

What was wrong with the stock skid plates?

Stock skids are welded-on steel. If you scratch them up, they will rust. The HMWPE skids don't rust, glide easy, are incredibly tough, and even make the machine quieter still. Not cheap but worth it. maybe the best skid plates on the market. imho.

We manually tilt the machine over with at least two people and set the roll cage bar on a mount that we made. Or you can put it on safety stands, use a chain to lift, etc.

You work in a very noisy environment. Looking for plates for my 16 570 midsize Ranger because the factory ones on it are plastic. So are yours. Can you tell me what the difference is between the factory one to yours?

I can tell you the OEM(Factory) are about an eigth of an inch thick and not very durable a lot of people have been running stick through them/floorboard. There arte companies like superatv,or factoryutv.net that make plates 3/8 inch thick plastic up to 1/2 inch thick they range around $49-$719 but you can have metal ones made its all preference because plastic weighs less but metal is still most likely the most durable.

Our skid plates are .50 (half inch) thick. The factory ones are very thin and you can push a stick through them.

Also, the advantage of plastic over metal is that the plastic skids dont gall, dent or rust or get hung up rocks. They also absorb shocks to the bottom of the vehicle rather than radiating it like metal.

Factory ones just like the RZR are thin and not made to really take a hard hit. These thicker ones are designed to take a larger hit and more abuse. Expensive but so are the Machines so why not spend a little extra to prolong the life of the Toy.

I just bought these doors last week, they were very easy to install after watching video. I love how they look compared to other doors like pro armour. They close so easy, latch very well. I love how it is made of 5/8 solid high density UHMW plastic they are awesome! It is so easy to get in and out now. Much more room inside. They wash up so easy. Excellent company to work with, shipping was quicker than promised. I would definitely buy there products again!

There are two roll pins that you insert into this panel's pre-drilled holes to help align it with the factory screw holes that the OEM skid was attached with. The pre-drilled holes in our panel are a little undersized for a tight fit. Thus the hammer makes it easier to install these two roll pins.
