PROBLEM IS... Luke 5:39 says "And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ” As we all know, in general, aged wine is always better tasting. The parable is NOT in favor of a new wine. New wines go through fermentation - old wines do not. It could be that the "new wine" is the new teachings of the Pharisees, traditions of man added to God's Laws and teachings (old wine). The new wine will just burst the hard hearts of men. Men needed new hearts (wineskins) or to be renewed by a process of softening wineskins, but the old wine (God's original Laws and teachings) is still preferred.

Dr. Turin, the Olympic wrestler was not transgender. Her and her family were harassed and treated terribly. Her dad showed everyone her birth certificate. She was born female. I think even if you could convince someone that Jesus was God, they would not want to be a Christian because of the way Christians treat people. As for politics it is not so black and white - we must choose between a mean self righteous man or a misguided kindhearted liberal woman. On second thought maybe it is all about black and white , it’s about the “how” we honor people’s equal rights and at the same time promote and steer our society toward healthy family values.. Just like Christ , we need to be a role model and love like Him. We cant legislate morality with an iron fist, but maybe a two edged sword would be more effective.

These brothers may be sincere Christians and I do not suggest otherwise. Unfortunately they spend too much time 'beating around the bush'. They are not good communicators. When someone speaks theology under the anointing of The Holy Spirit, their presentation is not boring. There are natural monotones who are not boring when they preach under the Holy Spirt's anointing. There are naturally charismatic speakers and orators who are dull with their highly animated religious ramblings when their expositions substitute The Holy Spirit with manipulative hype.. Some can use a discussion format , and communicate well. Unfortunately, these guys cannot. I am not however attacking these guys spiritually or theologically; Rob Bell is indeed a heretic and either cognizantly or incognizantly, he is an agent of the devil. These two brothers however are just ineffective in making their case even though their case is essentially right. Either God has not called them to this kind of apologetics ministry and they act in the flesh, or they need more prayer and coaching.

Turek's arguments are all flawed. he asserts contingencies for things to be possible or exist without demonstrating said contingencies exist. Why does there have to be a higher standard for morality? Also the death of Jesus according to Christianity isn't a sacrifice if he came back to life. he just gave up a weekend.

I live out of state and have come with my parents a few times, and I still watch on KZbin because God reached out to me through you all, he’s miraculously answered so many prayers since I completely surrendered to him, and now that I’m here it’s time for me to put the self work in, and I’ve been struggling with that part and I really needed to hear this sermon today. Thank you so much for everything you all do. It changed my life ❤

For my family it's very simple, it doesn't matter honestly how it originated but ultimately look at the day, the excitement around fear, the excitement of wicked practicing people, the evil costumes, evil decorations, sending your kids to the doors of weird creepy neighbors that any other day you would say don't take candy from strangers but 1 day a year you can... As a follower and disciple of Jesus my family believes this is an activity we do not participate in. We don't call it a holiday either as it is NOT a holy day celebration. We believe every day is made by the Lord and we can rejoice and be glad in it. We teach our kids like this: We celebrate Faith not Fear We celebrate Light not Darkness We celebrate Life not Death... the only death we acknowledge and have a remembrance day for is the death of Jesus because he defeated death and rose from the grave to fulfill the scriptures. Hope this helps anyone on the fence of what to Do!

The old man of sin is the old wineskin Gods Spirit is the is the new wine. The old man can’t contain the new wine or”Spirit “for they are contrary one to another, for Gods Spirit is only given to the obedient. But the new wine can be contained in the new man where both are preserved, thus the parable
