I remember where I was when I first heard this song; I was "sprung!" To hear the dj say it was the "Sylvers!?" ...one of my FAV childhood groups....man it was OVER!

Rest in Peace Dr. King. Though you were assassinated on this day 50 years ago, your message of love, peace and equality for all men still resonates. You are truly the G.O.A.T.!! I love you Reverend!!

Just found this album in the $1 bin Saturday, and i bought it. Listened to this song like.. that’s dope! I love them, still searching for the first 3 gems in bargain bins. Have them digitally though. The industry is so shady.

And thanx to Mr. Elite Obama, blacks are once again back to crawling. Its hard to walk when elites take all of our jobs away and send them over to other foreign, white countries to keep us on the bottom. So yes, when over half of our people are back on welfare and unemployment, I'd say that was crawling-once again. I surmise it'll be another generation cycle before we're back to walking again-let alone running. So yes, thank you for that Mr. Obama. We're so proud and happy as a people to be poorer now than when you started. Poverty is such a positive thing isn't it? It seems to be our destiny.

Some of the same people that did 'off the wall' album are behind Renee/Angela's music. The beats are tight on all of this groups' songs..similar sound to Mike's early wrk.

Hassan1814 is right; until he said it, it sure does sound like a Shalamar song. In a way, Pat does have that Jodi Whatley-esque flavor and kept her originality. I've been vibing to this all weekend. They need to get this on rotation on those For Lovers Only/Quiet Storm shows.
