It’s surprising how busy the drum part this is… But it’s always completely in support of the song… It never seems intrusive. I mean there’s so many fills. It’s ridiculous. But I mean, ridiculous in a good way… I’m listening to the song and I’m listening to all the fills and I’m saying to myself I just would never take that many feels I would never add that much embellishment during the versus a. It’s amazing.

Beautiful playing… Such ease and precision. Sometimes I think doing a drum cover is harder than playing the original part. Because you could say the original part is kind of an improvised thing. But you do a cover. You really have to learn it. Then you have to be able to perform it.
