Ngl this whole area is GARBAGE af. A duo boss fight, then an invasion, into another OP enemy, another boss fight before a boss fight. Don't even ger me started on the fucking retarded optional fight below this shit. Whoever designed this area didn't intend on people making it there under level 120-150 and I've 100% this game on PS4. Decided to replay it on PS5 ans get prepared for the DLC. Idk wtf they did to CFA but this shit is by far the gayest endgame gauntlet.

To any new person reading this, you can also use assassins gambit (ash of war) to sneak up on him. If the "quit game" glitch got patched.

as of patch 1.10 I don't believe this is working any longer. I was able to sneak behind after quitting out and was able to get him poisoned enough to take 1/4 of his health but then was not able to get any more poison damage after. Even after waiting and waiting to see if the resistance needed to build back up. On NG+ with over 200 FP and wasting about 3 flasks after the initial damage

Just use 14 flasks of blue stuff if need be . On regular NG Ive uses 2 flasks ( 10 mind, 16 int).... so not that much fp

I used this cheese when level 60 heading to find the way to get river of blood. After I had river of blood with lv 160. Still die as hell. This tree is insanely tough😅

Rivers of Blood is from way earlier in the game than this guy, and isn't even that good anymore as it got nerfed.
