Hi, is using only ASC campaigns for my shop a good strategy? I am doing it since October and getting good results. Should I also do CBOs alongside, or just ASC is ok? Thank you
@TheEcommerceAlley15 күн бұрын
Just keep running g what’s working! We see ASC crushing right now. Don’t muddy the waters. :) Stay consolidated with that campaign vs having multiple!

Totally going to start doing this!! I’m convinced because I’ve experienced this personal connection after buying your $17 ad lab and it did blow me away. It’s increased my confidence in recommending you guys to my business friends, because it’s something you don’t usually see out there. I hope your company keeps that close touch point even as you scale!

Thank you. This was excellent! Lots of takeaways, but one thing I really want to pursue is the nonscalable activities of reaching out to customers. I love doing this anyway, but sometimes hold myself back because of how it’s nonscalable. It’s great to have a reasoning behind why it’s a good way to spend my time + have others on the team spend their time.

Thanks but is this geared towards new online retail businesses that really don’t have income from their business yet? Would be great to have a video on how much to start per day in ads for new, small businesses.
@TheEcommerceAlley28 күн бұрын
Great question. We honestly recommend setting aside whatever you're willing to "invest" in your learning each day/month. Maybe it's $1000/month... maybe it's $3000/month. Consider it an investment... ideally you'll make money from it but set your budget assuming you won't.
@40andfabb28 күн бұрын
@ I started at $10 per day for the past week and haven’t seen sales but made sales a month ago. Fb ads seems to be inconsistent so I am wondering the ideal budget per day if I want to see sales, consistently. No one seems to give that number.

Hey, can I use the same pixel and event on 2 different ad accounts and run ADV+ campaign? both on $400 budget? is this a good idea? or better to use separate pixels?

Hi Josh, thanks for your informative video! I have a question: When I create multiple ads to test against each other, Facebook tends to allocate most of the budget to the top-performing ad. However, I’d prefer the budget to be distributed equally among all ads to get accurate data and determine the true winner. How do you manage this issue?
@TheEcommerceAlley28 күн бұрын
We don't recommend using Advantage+ for ad testing. Advantage+ is best for proven ads. We recommend using our Ad Lab Method to test ads and prove them before moving them into Advantage+. Advantage+ will always pick one (maybe 2) ads to put all the budget into... and that's ok! But if it picks the wrong one, we shut it off and let the budget re-shift into other ads.

Question. If engagement is the goal do you think a traffic objective would work better then reach? Also it’s been a year since you posted. Is this strategy still working?

Also - where does an DPA come in is this structure? Should that be in its own campaign? :) Also really the same question if you are using Advantage + campaigns? I see that thay normally take a huge pot of the budget...
@kunskapstavlan42512 ай бұрын
Does this applay even though the ad is in "learning" or should you wait until it is "Live" as Meta recommends? :)
@kunskapstavlan42512 ай бұрын
Hello! Thanks for the great information! One question that I can't manage to get an answer to, however.. How does it work with the formats of the creatives in this set. Should one then have a creative x 3 format or will meta automatically adapt a format? If so - which basic format should you choose? If so, is there a risk that it looks a bit crazy in many placements and gets cut off? How do you do?
@kunskapstavlan42513 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great information! I wonder though.. everything goes so fast in the development around Advantage plus.. would you say that what you say in this video is still best practice? Specifically thinking about "only" using 3 ads in a campaign..isn't that the opposite of what Meta says?
@TheEcommerceAlley3 ай бұрын
Pretty relevant. But number of ads depends on ad spend. For most people spending under $500/day, you can easily have 3-5 ads and be good for a long time. We have a campaign that’s spending about $3-4k/day right now that has 14 ads in it. More spend = more ad volume!
@kunskapstavlan42513 ай бұрын
@@TheEcommerceAlley Thank you! It is just so confusing since Meta is pushing for ALOT of ads... even though we have a spend of $600 per day.. Also, do you agree that you should take decisions after approx 100 klicks per ad, if to turn it on off etc..? Or what is your "time/volume"?

Great video. I understand how Advantage+ campaigns with broad targeting work well with products like food. But some basic demographics like income, location and age need to be targeted for some products. For example, I sell an insurance product that is only for those making at least a certain amount of money and within a certain age range and is best for those only in certain states. It would not make sense to show my ads to those outside these specific parameters. So how could it be budget efficient, or how could it even make sense to use or trust the Advantage+ Campaign? I like the ease of Advantage+ Campaign, but can it still be trusted when more specific targeting is needed? Should the optional Audience Suggestion be utilized in these cases?

Thanks for the great content! Will turning off poor ads and injecting new ads into the ASC+ Campaign interrupt the learning phase and performance? Currently, I change the ad creatives when I scale up the ASC+ Campaign once per week. But if turning off poor ad and inject new ad won’t interrupt the learning phase, I can do it more frequently by monitoring the kill switch button at the ad level. Appreciate your help! ❤
@TheEcommerceAlley3 ай бұрын
Every time you turn something off or Inject a new ad, we see a temporary dip as it regains footing. It always has the possibility of Introducing volatility. We only inject new when we kill switch something so it all happens at once :)
@RandallCrowder3 ай бұрын
Hey there, followup question ... let's say you have a 1-month old campaign for top of funnel that was performing well, but cost per result has started to go up (i.e. Campaign A). So you run the ad lab method and create another campaign to test possible new super ads and that campaign is performing much better, but with a smaller budget (i.e. Campaign B). Would you ... 1. Move winning ads from Campaign B into a new adset in Campaign A, 2. Scale budget down in Campaign A, while increasing budget in Campaign B, or 3. Something else entirely?

Are you seeing an increase in performance in Advantage + campaigns again after that dip or is the Broad CBO still the best performer with the data you've been seeing over the last few weeks.
@MetaDog-h2n3 ай бұрын
Hi, my product is only a summer product, and the Winner ads burned out in the CBO or stopped performing. So I transferred the post IDs to an ASC+ and had a constant ROAS of 3-4 for two weeks. Now the performance has suddenly dropped to a ROAS below 1 for two days, although I really haven't changed anything. What could be the reason for this? I would like to understand this. Maybe you can answer this question for me?

Great video. You have a new subscriber! I just started an ADV+ campaign and started off with 6 ads at $50/day. It’s been allocating all the spend to just 1-2 and not really giving spend to the others. I take it I prematurely placed too many ads from the start given my low budget. Would you recommend to turn off some of them to distribute spend and find winners or just let it be? I just don’t want to dismiss those as losers without giving it some spend.
