Sadly this is something I do with people or objects. I don't in tend to do it, but somehow it just happens. God's been convicting me of this. It's a real struggle. I think i also put people on pedalstals, i catch myself doing this and I know it hurts the lord's heart. I know how it feels to be rejected. It's heartbreaking and knowing that I'm doing that to God who loves me unconditionally. That's a hard pill to swallow.

Yea, sin sucks, it's only there to keep you away from god. We will always fall short of gods glory, for as long as we live. But we should not let that discourage us from getting up and staying in prayer. Living with god is truly amazing, the times i did not were some of my worst years. I was wasting it on lust, validation and doing nothing, going though those expiernces helped me see what god has for me and the people around me and i found a sense of purpose being to have relationship with Christ and being born to be tested for the day i leave this earth and also to serve Christ in any ways i can.

I've been struggling with sharing my testimony with people because it's bizarre and I'm afraid of what people will think. I know I shouldn't care, but I do unfortunately. But God has definitely healed and delivered me from that evil in August 2024. The whole church was praying over me. My backstory explains how I got to that point. I recently shared with my pastor and his wife, my whole story. That was extremely difficult to show vulnerability. It's not an easy thing to put yourself out there especially in front of a camera. That takes a lot godly courage.

Do you get worship songs playing in your head at times? I often do. Often times it's the old hymns i grew up on or the modern ones from today.

I regret so much falling victim to the evils of society (now) but I never felt the presence of God in my life even though I am baptized. Jesus might have died for us all who wish to believe in Him but I feel I don't deserve his love.

Wow!! That's really powerful! I'm so glad you found Christ and you're so driven to serve him. Like seriously its so inspiring. There's similar things that I can relate to that you shared. Mine wasn't weed or porn, but I do struggle with depression, social anxiety, I do still have bouts of lust trouble but it's way better than it used to be. Your so relatable that its like looking at a twin except I'm female. 😊

Thank you for this Video i am 56 and Monday thru friday i pray and read even work on my prayer bible but saturday and sunday come and i get busy with family.

I re-watched this again and thought about this because it's like God keeps showing me verses on false prophets and that nature. With God's help and showing me who to watch out for, as well as music/movies. I pretty much have removed a lot of the secular music/films. Occasionally I might listen to some 80s but mostly Christian stuff. Toby Mac, Jeremy camp etc. I've definitely changed from my former self, but God is currently working on me to be the version he wants. It's painful being the clay sometimes. 😮

I don't want to be annoying you or anything. One thing that helps me is copying books out of the Bible in notebooks. It sticks in your mind longer it seems then just reading it. Have you ever tried it?
