Mack trucks like their bulldog mascot, is a short, stocky, stout, and reliable truck. I prefer the international 4300 DT466 cause it's just as reliable as a Mack, but just a bit more versatile for my line of work (OTR track/tire technician and preventative maintenance technician). But both are fairly easy to work on and maintain compared to some of the over-engineered road princesses I've worked on. Mack and international trucks just need routine maintenance and a little bit of TLC and your grandkids will still be able to fire it up and dog it out.
