I have the 99 GTX. It has the 951. First thing is don’t ever run them if their carbs aren’t fully functioning. You have a very good chance of blowing the engine. It is easy to rebuild them completely. Always use genuine Mikuno parts. Your Seadoo sounds like it isn’t running right at the high end RPMs. Clean the carbs, then check the water valve into the muffler. Check your rave valves. I don’t hear them engaging. You will hear a big, quick jump in RPMs when they engage. After I blew my first engine not knowing any better, I have had 3 great years with it. But you gotta know what you are doing or you will waste a ton of money! Good luck!

While sitting on the ground without any weight in the seat they’re apparently supposed to stay up at the locked out position on their own due to the friction. With that being said I haven’t done anything to fix this and have flown probably 4-5 times since then. It’s cold so I’ve been done for the year but if I’m being honest I’m probably not going to try to fix it yet. I’m not doing acro and pulling Gs so I’m not concerned. Parajet and limitless are so cool. I wish I could test out a limitless. But parajet has proven reliability long term.

Rebuilding pump, new carbon seal w boot,cone on drive shaft side of impeller and both 2 I found out driveshaft bumpers.was missing the one at flywheel end. Shaft showing bad wearing on other end. Rubber pushing shaft away from pump I believe.waiting for parts so I can get it wet. Wanting to hear an feel that 1 mm. Over bore beneath me .if she runs out way I'm expecting then I'll tear it down and ring her. Then I'll spend the $200 with SBT for a new shaft. Oh yeah the engine is a SBT built also. 11-2023

This thing has like 230 something hours on original parts. I think it’s nearing its end. The last time I had it out I was flying full throttle across the lake then it just died. I tried swimming it to the marina but didn’t work so I had to crank it the entire way back. Surprised I didn’t burn up the starter but when I got back and took the seat off smoke was bellowing out of the engine compartment. Ground wire on the battery was slightly melted. Something going on. I hinestly hate the old two strokes and might break down and buy a new spark trixx. They look like a lot of fun but people complain about routine maintenance being difficult but it can’t be more difficult then maintaining a clapped out 90s 2 stroke PWC. Lol

@@buckley478 Love my kangook. I started with a vik, and it was nice and durable. I fly an amaruk now and its a little better at compensation. Offset arms do help. Its quite wing dependant (torque) as well. My arms dont hold themselves up anymore. Its of little concern, its simply the bushings wearing in. Bushings wear, so the bolts and arms dont. My buddy used to fly a macFly, and now flies amaruk. He says the MacFly had a little better compensation, because of the arms being bent for it. Of course, he didnt like the price tag, and his buddy bent an arm, doing acro, on the same machine.

We need to rebuild the carb completely or buy a new one and redo the fuel lines. It quit running on us and fouls plugs after like 2 minutes of riding lol.
@reekeen82578 ай бұрын
@motovlogunleashed Either the needle/seat was no good, or the low speed jets were too rich. Plugs fouling at low speed are almost always caused by these two. I hope everything turned out alright! Edit: Another thing to look out for - if it's dying after completely letting off of the throttle while at speed, then the little plastic check valves in the carbs need to be replaced. Make sure that you don't put them in backwards. Just reference a mikuni carb rebuild video for one of these motors and you'll get it.

The weight of the rider will matter too, as well as how much gas you have. Every pound counts that's why with a passenger you're doing high 30's.

This one has the 951 in it! It just started running really bad. I’m guessing it’s the intake. It seems to be missing parts on it and it’s getting too much air would be my guess. The clips that hold it on are gone and it was zip tied on. It was someone’s river rat jet ski I’m guessing.
