Do u have to fully close the tips on the umbrella? Can you fold it away almost straight and tuck it away in the side of your backpack, I understand that the sleave won't fit if this was to be done but just wondering if it'd be to fragile to do this? Tia

Nice video. I have a Xmid1PV2 (not pro). It was my choice based mostly on cost, plus I am usually only in the tent for sleeping so the interior space was not a deal breaker for me. Also, I personally have never separated the inner from the outer so the set up really is not much different from the pro doing it that way.

I have done a lot of hikes over the years and always try a new pack. After a week of so I call my wife to send my 10 yr old ohm back to me for the rest of the hike!

Hey Puffin. I left the trail because I couldn’t eat. I lost the ability to keep moving. Is this something that you think you would be Interested in addressing in a video. Omi who is still on trail is having the same problem. I understand that this is related to a hormone that sends blood to muscles Instead of to the digestive tract. I really would like to overcome this problem and get back on trail. Thank you!

Hi Puffin. I won’t see you on the trail. I’m off trail for good at Unicoi Gap. I haven’t suffered any injuries. My main issue was not being able to eat, which in turn caused me to not have the energy to power up the mountains. I hope you have a successful journey! I’ll be watching from home. Best of luck!

What a great story how you got your name! I was at Billy Goat Days in 2022 and missed Dixie by a few minutes, but I got to meet Nimblewill Nomad and have met tons of well-known Florida Trail hikers out on the trail basically in my backyard. Since I live in Orlando and train on the FT, when I did a section hike on the AT with a fellow physician and mutual friend of ours, I got my trail name, Sea Level :)

I'll have to look for a 3 way charging cable! Can you charge three devices at the same time?

Hi, great video, I also have a z-seat which I really like. Is it a good umbrella to protect from the sun? I mean, there are others that have a reflective outer layer, uv protection and so on. Have you tried one of those? If so how does it compare with the snow peak? Thanks!

Hey Chris! I tried wrapping my line in the figure 8 like you showed me in Hot Springs. Because I have small hands the other methods didn’t work for me, but this method did. I’ll be practicing hanging my bear bag. Thanks for the video.
