Went to Basic at Ft Sill in January 2004 when it was all male. Didn't see a female the entire time. The new Army looks to be so kind and loving now. Can't even hear the Drill Sergeants in the video. Do they still yell? Or is yelling too hurtful? Mean? Basic at "Ft Silly" is more like what it has become.

Did this in 1996, wow things have changed. No whistles, no "Drill Sergeant, yes Drill Sergeant" only "yes Drill Sergeant. No females in 1996 either. No cattle cars.

I was there in 1990 and we had cattle trucks with standing room only packed in like sardines with our face smashed against the fucking walls. These guys actually had seats to sit on. Holy fucking dog shit!

+jclutchman17 I was there in '91, and we bivouacked, when it was so damned cold, that our shelter halves had to be stood up until they thawed. I sure as hell don't remember any female drill sergeants there, though! WTF?

+Stan Quick not only was there no female DIs the only females we saw was at the chow hall and of course you better not say a word to any of them and as far as getting passes and leave we got one six hour pass and to boot it was on post we could not go off post

FearDivinity your right cause when i was there in 2003 there were no females at all we were transported in horse trailers from reception to the basic training platoons this shit looks like relaxing jackson

Same here. I went through in 95... it was NOTHING like this. this is sad. The Army is far and away not whay it used to be. Our Drill Sergeants wore pistol belts on thier BDUs... These DSs in ACUs look and act 8 the hell up.
