I have always felt a strong, somewhat mysterious connection to the heroes and historical figures of the Past , something that cannot be explained in rational terms, it is almost...metaphysical. I have always been fascinated by Heroism, Courage and Passion of all famous characters throughout the ages - their Sacrifice, nearly unimaginable Fearlessness in face of often overwhelming odds. When I work on my projects, this Connection grows even stronger in me, and I almost can feel and see the Roman legions chanting marching songs, laconic Spartans sternly giving out commands, or brave Gauls screaming out their war cries. My technique is almost always oils on acrylic base.
