How is the solo transcription incorrect, I’m not 100% my transcription is accurate since it’s not easy to tell from the video exactly what’s going on, but I’d like to know where it’s incorrect so I can fix that
@monkael14383 ай бұрын
@@paradoxofperfection8965 yeah man glad you asked. so not to plug myself/an alternate channel, but if you look up double beat 2004 correct solo transcription, there is a short form video with the solo and a notebook page with the sheet music. (though i accidentally wrote a 32nd note rest instead of a 16th rest at one point, thats the only error. almost every bar of the solo is wrong in this, though i cant blame you much because i had to slow down the OG video a lot and it took me a long time to write it out but when i play along with the OG its exactly the same. let me know if you do update it, so i can delete my comments saying its wrong. also, youre missing a bar at the beginning of the cadence, its count off and then 7 bars before the bass 6let roll bar, not just 6 bars.

I learned to play this tenor part by listening and watching. first i’ve ever actually seen the sheet music for it.

It’s incorrect. It’s not just incorrect, it’s very very incorrect, there is not one bar of this solo transcribed correctly.

my line tried learning this (i play tenors) and of course the basses got mad that we couldn’t play it because their part is quite literally the easiest thing i’ve ever seen. for tenors we couldn’t get past 112 bpm

It’s actually not that bad since most of the notes on the same hand are all diddled, so it’s kind of like getting two or three notes from one hit.
