If instead of eating a deer alive the eagle was eating the guy's dog alive, I presume he would've intervened to save his dog. At least that's what a normal person would do. Yet, the law that bans interference with bald eagles does not say anything about there being an exception in cases in which the eagle's victim is a pet, a child, etc. Instead courts read such exceptions into the law. What if the deer was somebody's pet -- domesticated since being rescued as an orphan fawn? Is the law really going to send a person to jail if that person stops an eagle from gradually eating his/her pet deer alive as it screams in agony for hours?

If you actually want to learn something watch the whole series. I doubt you will, I think you have the same problem as everyone else, too little education and too much emotion. It’s ALWAYS best to let nature take its course.
@denniswilliamson19312 ай бұрын
Understand and support everything you said, but if I was in the same position I don't think I would've been able to leave the deer be. I'm just as much a part of nature and can make my choices in the moment as well. Nobody else should feel wrong if they feel they would've helped as well, two different philosophies, both can be right.
@AlaskaPirates2 ай бұрын
I disagree. It’s ALWAYS better to just let nature take its course. That shit was between the eagle and the deer. No human has the right to interfere just because they can’t control their emotions. The, “humans are a part of nature” argument is childish and silly. It’s just a diversion from the truth, which is, a lot of folks are under educated and over emotional when it comes to the natural world. We are all entitled to our opinions, and that is mine.

My son has a kayak so I kept it. It’s cuts through water good, I put a Bixpy on the back, Garmin striker 7sv, if nothing else, it is comfortable, foot steering. I made upgrades I never stood up on the sea eagle either. Blackfoot is a good kayak. Might change out seat for a swivel seat, when I fish the bank I like to face the bank while trolling. Easier to get to things behind you. It out runs my sons kayak Hobie with the same motor.
@AlaskaPirates2 ай бұрын
Right on, the way I see it is nothing in life is perfect but if I don’t like something I’ll try to find something I like better, or make due. I was very interested in the swivel seat too! But the price sea eagle wants is crazy. I m very happy with my boat at this point! I’m glad yours is working out too!
@blazesn12 ай бұрын
I pick up the Blackfoot 130 after watching your video, I hadn’t seen your other video on the about the motor mount, for me I would have passed on it. I use to have a sea eagle, more room, swivel seats, wooden floor makes it easier to stand up. But I’m customizing it, extra work and money. 😢
