Absolut vielseitiges Overdrive Pedal … habe diverse andere ausprobiert aber das Drive in kam immer wieder zurück auf‘s Board, weil es einfach super vielseitig ist und sich gut einstellen lässt und dabei immer ausgewogen klingt.

Became my main tube pedal instantly! Even better, if stacked with my Kaluna I. A cab IR behind and I do not even need a complete amp anymore, but of course this pedal really shines even in front of an already good sounding amp. A two or even better footswitchable three channel version with separate EQ's and parallel channel mixing plus alternatively serial channel stacking would be perfect for me, maybe even with programmable presets. Not cheap, but definitely worth the price. After I got my first Kaluna, I sold all my overdrive pedals, apart from a rare, custom modded SD-1, including a PlexiTone, a Tube Driver and a Tubeman. Meanwhile I have some new ones, but they all do not even come close in terms of sound.

I came across a Golden Cello and Amber Overdrive a couple months ago, and I was floored by how perfect they were for my sense of voicing, gain structure, touch, really everything, so I've gone back through the Mad Professor catalogue and fallen completely in love with their pedals. And for nearly one, your demo is the thing that makes me think "OK, no more waiting, I need this thing." You manage to demo pedals in a way that both stays true-to-life, very much what they'll sound like on my end of things, AND shows off their best qualities, which is no simple task - saludos, and I know I'll be back to your channel for plenty more consultations!

sounds good as always. A pedal tips if not tested already - Duke Of Tone - delivered internal Prescence trimpot at 12 o clock - set it down 9 clock more like their King of Tone is delivered - and set in OD mode - Volume max - Drive max and Tone about 3 o clock - also runs at 18V more headroom as Dunlop says Really good pedal overall - for the price a bargain : )

Great sounding drive peda!

I actually wanted to get this pedal, but went for the UA Lion instead as I love the Superbass as a pedal platform, and it is definitely is the best modeler I have ever had,and i already have a couple of Victory preamps. But this sounds amazing. I may still get one when i sell a few things. Something about real tubes, I can't completely get away from. You nailed the sound!

Fingers are in FIRE...Me too...lately found very dynamic and clear nuance pedal. It's just guitar-pot-sensitive which is a very important feature for me. You have the most musical ways of presenting pedals and great playing skills! Thanks again and all the best!

It’s nothing like a Tube Screamer. It’s Wampler’s variation of the Nobel. More people like it than the Nobel, the Keeley, and others.

Toda la razón se escucha el post trabajo en el audio de las supuestas demos de casi todos los canales grandes de KZbin, por eso a mi me encanta ver esas demos humildes o poco profesionales donde sale un tipo que le importa un comino como se ve la cámara ni se enfoca bien y se pone a tocar, esas demos valen oro porque ahí escuchas realmente al equipo.

Hi Alberto, can i ask you how to connect the output of the ap1 compact to the rest of the pedals, eq/compressor/reverb, is marketed as a pedalboard friendly, but i simply dont understand how a xlr balance signal is going to the next pedal, thank you very much!,🙌🙌🙌
