I think, it doesn't matter how long the videos are; If they are short, we can look another one too, and if they very long, we can split them. But when they come to an hour or longer, I begin to dream. What kind of crazy thick eraser do you have there? It seems to work very well.

Always a delight to watch your videos. Love the real time with my tea, well tonight it was a cappuccino! Honestly…. I think your paintings are always prettier than real life! Those deep shadows are always scary for me to put in after all that hard work painting. Thank you for the time you spend on this. Cheers!

HiJillee, you were such an inspiration to me. I love watching your videos. Not only your painting, but also your KZbin channel I started my own channel a few months ago to document my painting. I hope you check it out. I've been watching on my personal channel for a while, but I added yout to this one to help spread the knowledge to people that follow me. Thanks again and keep up the good work. I always enjoy seeing a new video from you.😍❤

Can i use normal A4 sheet paper and poster colours for these types of painting.....?
@SpeedSliceStudious16 күн бұрын
Will it work?
@roadrollerdio56515 күн бұрын
You can certainly do nice sketches using poster colours though they won't be as transparent and loose as watercolours. I would advise you to use paper of heavier weight than normal A4 sheets because when you have water on your brush, normal paper will get soaked through and warp. 300 gram per sq m (gsm) paper is the most common standard for watercolour but you'll be fine with even 250 gsm for a light wash of paint. Hope this helps!

Btw, should i wet the paper first?
@roadrollerdio56514 күн бұрын
@@SpeedSliceStudious If you are using watercolour, you can certainly do so to achieve the "wet on wet" technique. It's great for your base layers as it gives a smooth, hazy, blurry effect. You will have to avoid wetting areas that you mean to keep as highlights. But it is not necessary to wet the paper first if that's not the effect you want. If you're working with poster colours, no need to wet the paper first (in general) but ofc you can experiment.

I sketched right along with you, stopping the video on occasion to catch up. It really does help to watch and do it with you, I understand how you see things and why you do something. Thank you for these tutorials.
