Fake video. The hinge doesn't install that way. You can't just rest the top of the nylon scissor mechanism on top of the opening, and the key cap doesn't just fall into place. Total fake.

My key came off but the hinge stayed in place. The key wont pop back into the slot though.

i took my w key off and now i cant put it back on. there is two small plastic pieces, and i cant manage the large outer one one to stay conected to the key and not fall. please i need help so bad

i figured it out, a small plastic thing was bent in the larger, piece, where they connect

Thank you!! My kid popped one off and I just wanted to know which way faced what. Every other video I found was like "Just push and here click, click and tada!". Well if that worked, jerry, I wouldn't be looking up tutorials now would I?(Jerry is 100% a fake name I pulled out of thin air.) Anyway, Thank you for actually showing the orientation and the way the hinges fit together. This is what I needed. All fixed.

Lol my key was kinda stuck so i just put it underneath, the key didn’t go out so i stopped, and tried the key again and it was unstucked

Took my some time to find it. My search was ''Asus rog strix key''. Looks likes it applies to lots of models with all having the same keys with light shining through. So maybe add also stuff like G731 G704 etc..
