Any tips for printing photos on both side of the photo paper? I wanna make photobook. Thank you
@jonlowКүн бұрын
These photo papers are one side only papers. You'll require to look for a double sided printable surface to get the best effect ;)

Hey man. Where do you buy the fine art paper in Malaysia? (Particularly KL)
@travelrefocused20 күн бұрын
Hi Jon. I love this idea of giving out instant prints to your street subjects. I regularly offer to send my images to people on the street, however, l they often decline. This was fun to watch.

Will the color last longer? Secondly, Malaysia has one of the best photo book printing service, that is Photobook. I wonder what printer that they use. Just a top premium printer or dpecial printing machine? Thanks

Looks great! But if printing on Flat or Matte paper, you need to bump up the saturation slightly.

Thanks fore this information on this printer. I am having an event that I was ask to do prints on the spot and looking for one relyeble printer that will do HQ prints fast. If you know of any that you can recomend I will much appreciate that. Thanks, Jorge in Tampa, Florida
@jonlow2 ай бұрын
This is relatively fast - but I am not sure volume is the right strategy for this printer. The ink consumption may be more efficient for high volume printers out there - which i never got a chance to test it. Sorry, not much of a help there. This will cost a lot more if your print jobs are volume driven with no intention of a lifetime preservation

I'm working with my 3rd Canon 200 in 8 years. t gets a lot of work. I only use it with a hard wite connection as I have machines lose connection mid print with wifi. The Dye based inks and Canon semi gloss give me salable prints and my own B&w architecture images are almost as good as the pigment based prints tha I made with my Epson at a fractin of the waste/cost. I used to talk to Kodak techs about C41 prints and the claim that they were "archival" (expected to last 100 years). The Techs assured me that I would be long dead before the prints faded. It was very reassuring

Delighted to see a video from a fellow Malaysian! Just wondering if you could give an update on how the bone colour is holding up after these years? I’m looking to get the bone colour but unsure how quick it’ll get dirty and how hard it is to clean

Thanks :). That video was uploaded quite some years. Unfortunately that bag was a review unit and I’ve since returned it. I’ve got the sage color from beginning of time that I purchase for the travel backpack. It’s the green one. That color way lasted well

The only downside apart from outdated AF, is the very common sensor dust issue on GR series. And now the price is just hard to justify for most people that already have a camera

That call for a proper ownership of the camera to tell. Sometimes me as I review them do wonder how will it be on a long term use with these gadgets.

Nice was looking for something like this. Been doing some commissions and prints for friends on the side from my main job and I only had the pro platinum glossy one. Luster is my pick at the moment for the future as I feel the premium gloss is like a portfolio showcase item and shines the best if you also set up the enviroment for it along with the photo. Luster doesn't really matter where its at it will still look fine no matter the lighting location.
@jonlow3 ай бұрын
You are spot on with those comment. That is how I feel about luster. It’s a good balance media to print on.

Cool video thanks ! If the Zhiyun molus x60 RGB battery dies , can it keep working at full brightness , by plugging in a simple 10000 mA USB-C powerbank that is not PD ? Also can you attach it to steel surfaces magnetically ?
@jonlow3 ай бұрын
You could certainly get full brightness when plug in a powerbank that is PD , with enough Watt. I've tried pluggin in a 20W PD and it didn't work. I've got the 100W PD powerbank and it works flawlessly. No, it does not attach to steel magnetically

Hi boss. I am thinking of buying this printer for my small business. Does this print well on cardstocks for greeting cards or name cards? Really need some opinion
@jonlow4 ай бұрын
I am not sure this is a good solution. The cost of print is not the most affordable one for greeting cards. Do check for volume printers that can print more and cost less.

I have this printer. I absolutely hate it. It’s always something with this printer. You need to have just the right amount of paper in it or it says it’s out of paper. Too much or too little and you’re gonna get the out-of-paper notice. And it burns ink like it’s going out of style. The ink boxes are $105 a pack and the printer is constantly asking for them to be replaced. Also, if the printer says it’s low on ink, you better replace it or it’s gonna mess up your print job. If you’ve got a lot of free time and like playing with your printer more than you like to print, this is the printer for you.
@jonlow4 ай бұрын
I have a different experience from what you are going through. I only load paper from the top feed 1 by 1. That's maybe because I am printing on these A3 photo papers, and I load them as I need them. I get really great print results from the printer. Last week, I've printed a graduation portrait, and the print was gorgous. The bulk of time was use to prepare the photo in lightroom. As I hit print, it came out flawlessly - 1st try. So, dunno. I had a different experience from where you are coming from.

A note that always catches Mac users out is to make sure its NOT using the AirPrint driver, but the actual Canon one that you MUST download from their site
@jonlow5 ай бұрын
Have you try printing with just the airprint driver? I've print some document using iOS, which didnt have any issues. What kind of issues do we get caught up if it's Air Print?
@ColdCoffeePhotography5 ай бұрын
@@jonlow You can't colour manage when using the airprint driver, it overrides it - so images can look different to what you think you should be getting - but I am talking printing photos not docs or pdfs etc
