As beginner working on it! Ukulele is a very interesting Instrument. Live long shared Attention on that Instrument since seeing some at a Music Fare in Frankfurt, Germany and some time ago bought 2 and now trying to learn it.

Thanks for great teaching. As beginner with Ukulele in an age of 66 it is very impossible to play anything. But with your help it was a great lesson to play that rhythm. Usually I played and sang with accordion. But hat not idea how to make a good rhythm with Ukulele or guitar. But good now to learn when to make downstroke or upstroke. Great challenge to become better and to sing and play. Greetings from Germany!

Thank you for the strumming advise as difficult as it is to coordinate with chord changing. Ill keep working at it...slow and steady wins the race!

I'm a 3 month old player (and French speaking). I am sensitive to your way of explaining chords, strum and chord changes. The position of your uke between the knees is unusual for me. I adopt it for this song.Thanks for this awesome tutorial.

Also I started as Accordion Player now with 66 to learn Ukulele and had no idea how to Beginn. But, after seeing KZbin Videos it seems that there people use different positions to told the Ukulele. Finally the player should find out the most comfortable position. Also the thumb of left hand seems to be used differently. I feel better to keep thumb high beside because I do practice Violine and feel good to do same. That position as in video makes me feel uncomfortable, but most Ukulele teach it like he does it. I still struggle and try both, but may do it may way!? Greetings from Germany!
