I haven't paid any attention to this franchise since the pre sequel, but with the announcement of BL4 I wanted to see If I even still like this game series. True vault hunter won't unlock until I beat the game once right?

@@ThaRawDeal Yeah, you beat the game once and then you can do it. I love that you can slide in this game, and there’s some cool missions that drop some epic rewards.

I played Borderlands 2 way too many times but never completed the PreSequel. I bought this game forever ago when it was on sale but never found the time to play. I enjoying it so far, eager to see how wild the weapons can become!

@@ThaRawDeal honestly didn’t have one. I just raw dogged it. All I knew was that the fan was good against him. I just somehow dodged most of his move set since some of it is ours

The Fortune's favor perk grants 24 armor for each Great Sages Talent you have activated. The Great Sages Talents refer to your relic perks, for example Craving Eye's. The armor gains more defense with every NG+ you complete.

Well with the 5 relics each having 3 talents, That would be 15 talents granting 24 defense per activation. 15 x 24 is 360. That should mean the armor can obtain a bonus defense rating of at least 360 points.

The defense bonus only applies to this armor set, so yes you have to wear it to enjoy the bonus.

Is there really no other armor set that covers up the monkey toes?

@@ThaRawDeal there are armor that do cover up the feet. But its armored so we’re still getting monkey feet

There is more gear to unlock in NG+, so maybe you'll find some more appealing style options on your second playthrough.

@@iShiro-4 Yes it has been nerfed from its original form, but I still find the perk useful for winning engagements at further distances.

Did you ever figure this out? I 100% Valhalla before going back to the regular mode, and am not aware of any additional requirements beyond the designated unlocks and Lost Loot chest.

PVP metas are irrelevant to me. I'm skilled enough to do what I want when I want despite whatever "OP builds" and "crutch" weapons are popular. Cost is irrelevant as this game is F2P and I've already amassed an arsenal powerful enough to sustain me for the remainder of this games lifespan. I only engage with PVE as much as is required to obtain a sufficient competitive advantage in the crucible. I play other games for PVE content, and now that XDeifiant is a thing I can play that for PVP. What has TFS added to your DESTINY 2 experience?

What makes this game fun for you and how has TFS added value to your experience?

@ThaRawDeal Prismatic is fun as hell, despite how annoying it has made PVP, the story and it's ending was fantastic, finishing it's story bits of the Light and Darkness saga for the time being, and giving it a nice bow for the story that needed to be told. The Pale Heart was everything I wanted in a location and more, fun, challenging and honestly, a look back on 10 years. You don't like it, that's fine but saying it failed as a Fun Game is your opinion. I quite enjoy what's been added, fixed and changed. While there are some annoyances, I can look past them to enjoy the DLC as it is: Fun.

What do you find to be so amazing about TFS?

Destiny 2 PVP is quite easy for me. I just don't stream because I'm not interested in being an entertainer or content creator.

Not the most fun thing to deal with, but such tactics can be countered with proper adjustments to your gameplay. Efficient counter play isn't always fun though, so I empathize with your frustration.

I read books when I want to be whisked away to other worlds through the magic of story telling. I don't expect a video game rated T for Teen to provide any sort of ground breaking narrative, especially not one that is marketed for mass consumption to a population who's intellect has been proven to be on the decline. Destiny 2 gameplay is average at best. The provided power fantasy doesn't appeal to me as someone who understands and can manipulate actual power dynamics in real life. I've never found this game particularly challenging, and consider the PVE gameplay loop to be quite bland compared to other PVE focused video games of current and previous console generations. Lore might be a factor for you, but I'm only here to press buttons. A huge chunk of content being locked behind the eververse doesn't sit well with me either. Customers who pay full price for the current product and preorder future seasons should at the bare minimum be offered a substantial discount on all in game purchases. I like video games that provide unique and engaging gameplay. Destiny 2 is just a live service full of placeholder and filler content with the goal of keeping "players" engaged through the use of FOMO and community peer pressure. Like I said in the video, this product clearly isn't for me. If you feel like you are getting your monies worth then good for you.

Sup dude, I'm doing well! Sorry to hear that you're in the hospital, but glad to hear from you! This weeks Iron Banner reintroduced the Crimils Dagger 120 HC, and the Jorums Claw Pulse Rifle. I haven't gotten any noteworthy drops yet, but I should hit rank 7 tomorrow which will allow me to focus the Crimils. Destiny 2 is pretty much business as usual, I didn't bother to buy the latest DLC and haven't been playing much. I honestly have not missed this game at all now that XDefiant is a thing. Just came back to confirm my previous suspicions. IB will last for the next 2 weeks BTW.

I'm gonna try to record part 3 within the next couple of days, hopefully I can include the CoB encounter you mention. This game is so much more fun on the Chaos difficulty that I am reevaluating my greek pantheon tier list. I'm for sure gonna play Ascension again on Titan as these are completely different games on the very hard difficulty. I feel like I have to actually become Kratos to pass some of these longer combat encounters!

@@ThaRawDeal Sounds good, although I doubt you'll reach the second encounter I was referring to for the next episode; it's towards the end of the game, after overcoming the assembled Labyrinth. On the upside, it gives you plenty of time to prepare, especially against those damn satyrs.

The Labyrinth of Daedalus... Now that I think about it, that section may be why I never attempted chaos mode until now. I don't clearly remember the encounter, only how it made me feel, and the struggle was real! Do you have any tips or maneuvers I should incorporate into my gameplay?

@@ThaRawDeal Since most of the time you fight in enclosed spaces, keeping tougher enemies like minotaurs pinned against walls is a good way of stun-locking them or throwing them into traps for insta-kills (you can use lesser enemies as battering rams or the Blades' grapple to accomplish this easily), prioritizing Sirens whenever possible since they can immobilize you (again, the walls help in mitigating their evasive moves, but I think they're immune to spike traps at ground level) and upgrading Blades and Nemesis Whip for their crowd control magic and Cestus for sheer damage. All in all, is a test of sheer combat skill and situational awareness, although I think there's only one combat room with traps in it (one that rotates 3 times). The rest are timed puzzles.

Sound advice. I never gave Nemesis Whip or Nemean Cestus much play time back in the day because I immediately fell in love with the Claws of Hades, but I'll be sure to level and explore their combat potential this playthrough.
