The part number depends on your model. You can look it up by the name “plate control position indicator” One of the part numbers is 35921-35171 if that helps your search. Good luck!

I knew it was a possibility but wanted to swap it first before getting the relay. I also need new Interior LED’s. I swapped interior about two years ago but not happy with the product I used and result, so will be getting new Auxito’s. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey, thanks for the question! I also had thrown a P0420 code. I replaced both O2 sensors and all codes went away. This fixed my issue. I would absolutely replace both O2 sensors before doing anything with your catalytic converter. I would bet this would fix your issue and get you back running better. If you do it, come back and let me know the results. Good luck!

Very impressive eye, but unfortunately this one isn’t the Alpine. Actually, this one will be leaving soon for an upgraded car play model. Alpine’s were the best back in the day.

@@vanwinklesgarage still stock. Motor has 40k less than body though. Previous owner had issues off the lot so he got a free motor swap from the dealer. Two tone red an white red interior

Absolutely, I couldn’t believe it. After I cleaned them up they truly look like New Old Stock. This was definitely kept covered in it’s life.

Ford Ranger with a different badge. Reminds me of the old Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth Neon of the early 2000’s. Same car, three different badges depending on what part of the country you bought it in.

This is a 2000 2wD SR5. I’m the second owner and have never changed the ujoints. It’s possible the previous owner may have changed them. Would it be possible someone changed your ujoints to some that don’t have the zerk? I can’t speak for the forums chatter, but it wouldn’t surprise me that 3rd gens had many different options. Similar to the O2 sensor differences. I’ll say this, if I didn’t have zerks I would seriously considering upgrading.

That is a GREAT question. I’ve had them on now for some time and have experienced zero wind noise. My regular transit see’s me travel mostly between 45-55MPH, however I do travel on highways and interstates between 60-75MPH as well. I’ve had no issues, and my passengers haven’t mentioned anything either. They have been great. Thanks for watching and thanks for the question.

Goodness, sorry to hear about your broken leg! As they say, “Necessity is the mother of invention”. You could probably do it without removing the shifter, but I would think that you would still get in some precarious physical positions to do so. Good luck, lemme know if you find a way!

A few thoughts. 1. Is your brake warning light coming on your dash when the e-brake handle is not pulled? If it does come on, how long does it stay on? - 2. I’ve only ever had ABS issues on my ‘00 when the sensors got very dirty. I jacked it up, removed the sensors, cleaned them off, and reinstalled. That fixed the issue, and a task I would recommend if you’ve never done it. Very easy. - 3. I would set your phone up in the engine bay and record your start up to see if you can capture that sound better. You could also have someone start it while you’re outside listening. Do this numerous times to try and identity what location in the engine it’s coming from. - 4. Does the sound happen when the key is in accessory “on” position? Or only when the engine cranks?
