I’m a bass with a range of B1-B3 (chest voice) C4-E4 (belting, not fully including that in chest) and from there to about C-D5 in mix voice. My mix is pretty weak and disconnected from my chest, and sounds like a totally different person. I know you’ve been there, could you please give me some advice on how to get to where you are? And what the fastest way to do so is? I’ve already made some progress connecting my registers, and am totally willing to put in hard work to get my voice to something worth listening to. Don’t stop what you’re doing!!!!

My lowest note is B1 and highest A7 (not everyday) G7 most of my days. but doing what you did here, I can only do it from D2 to E7.

Hi David, thanks for this tutorial. Your video "how to sing high notes with a low voice" really unlocked a lot of knowledge for me. One big struggle for me has always been breathing. I could hold a hiss for 1min20 secs but hold a note for max 10 secs but strained toward the end. Have you encountered this before?
@DavidKahnSingsАй бұрын
thanks for being here chris, glad to hear the tutorials are helping. yes it could be the dynamics you’re using. maybe try the note quieter, let me know if that works.
