Both antagonists like to take a direct brute force behavior approach when exposed but more covert beforehand. I suspect the predator getting to the technological point of intergalactic space travel would have at least some knowledge/concepts of robotics and AI vs the terminator has zero understanding of alien species. If it’s in the past with inferior weapons the terminator looses because it appears to not have the ability to set up elaborate physical traps or elaborate plans outside of basic infiltration psychology and tracking protocols and does not have something to match the primary weapon the predator has. If it’s in the future though skynet would probably destroy a single predator with effective weapons, various types of robotic units and tracking over the wasteland.
