I'm glad they won, especially after the end of that Trailblazers game, not even getting a shot off, another win they should have had. I like Daniels, but for him to get DPOY the Hawks need to start putting some win streaks together, and playing good defense collectively as a team, because you know they want to give it to Wemby, and the Spurs haven't been winning. 🤔✌️

The Cavs have been good for the last couple of years, one of the top four teams in the east, yes the schedule has been a little light, but they beat the Warriors and the Mavericks twice last season and as far as the Lakers go, they showed everybody that the Lakers still don't measure up to the top five teams in the west, this is the 3rd year with Spida, and 4 years between Garland, Mobley and Allen, they are used to playing with each other, all that talk of breaking them up after last season by the media, they going thru the same thing Boston did when everyone wanted to break up Tatum and Brown, l'm glad they didn't listen, and as far as the bench goes, they have one of the best benches in the game right now, Kenny Atkinson has a 10 player rotation, they've always been a good defensive team, but the coach has unleashed that offense by increasing the pace, they have the number one offensive in the NBA and they are going to beat team's in the west just like last year, the biggest test is coming against Boston, Tuesday. I'm predicting the Cavs will finish number 2 in the east this year, if the they can stay healthy. 🤔✌️
@hertakes6 күн бұрын
We shall see. Don’t agree they exposed the Lakers Perhaps I put too much expectations on AD and 40 year old Bron. Lakers clearly need a deeper bench. Which actually proves my point they’ve played weaker teams. We’ll see how the CAVS hold up. I’m just not convinced of a deep playoff run. But again, we shall see. Btw the Lakers are #3 in the West right now. But they’ll need to make a roster change (a pure shooter) by the deadline in my opinion.

This was nice victory, they fought hard to the very end, without Trae, Hunter and Bogie, is it me or does Bogie get hurt alot, Hunter doesn't play hard as he used to, and Trae has fallen back into the habit of taking bad shots at critical points in the game, the Hawks had that game against the Bulls, against the Celtics the defensive intensity picked up, especially late in the game and with those players sitting. This is my opinion but Trae is not the leader this young Hawks team need, he still goes into hero mode at the end of close games, it's team ball that wins the close ones, teams have learned how to play Trae, which makes the Hawks offensive to predictable because the ball's always in his hands, but he also needs help, the right guard out front to complement his game, that hasn't happened yet, Murray didn't work, not going to blame either one because that happens, not all of this is on Trae some of it is on coaching, can Quinn Snyder develop this young team the right way. 🤔✌️
@hertakes12 күн бұрын
I can’t disagree with anything you said. I hope Quinn and Trae uses this game to see we have other options to close out games. They just gotta trust them to make plays. And not rely solely on Trae. Cause you’re right defenses have figured him out. They know what to expect. ✌🏽👊🏽

Just found your channel. Love it! How do you feel now after watching nine games? When Kirk has actual pass protection, he can carve up any defense in the league. Kirk and the offense had a slow start but Kirk hadn't played for a year and was on a new team. It's gonna take time for things to gel. And the penalties....my goodness. How many times has that stalled a drive??

@GaryBrownlee-do4pj21 күн бұрын
Thats alot of injuries to be so early in the season, you make a good point about preseason conditioning, how much is everyone working out. Quinn Snyder's rotations are questionable, but so many injuries makes that difficult, my problem with Snyder is his lack of defensive schemes and his poor player development, he's got to go. I still don't see eye to eye with you when it comes to Trae, I'll leave it at that, tough game against the Celtics coming up, everyone needs to get healthy again. 🤔✌️

Jordan is still my goat, the game has changed so much from when Jordan played, the game has evolved around 3 point shooting, you said Jordan never faced that type of competition or a team as good as the Warriors, I respectfully disagree, what about Bird and McHale in Boston ,Patrick Ewing in New York, Charles Barkley and the Doc in Philly, Isaiah Thomas in Detroit, Karl Malone and John Stockton in Utah, Magic, Kareem and Worthy for the Lakers, Dominique Wilkins for the Hawks, lets not forget Akeem Olijuwan in Houston, not hating but that team isn't good enough to win a chip, but nothing wrong with wishful thinking. 🤔✌️
@hertakes28 күн бұрын
This debate will never end... My saying Jordan didn't go against a team like the Warriors was for FINALS teams only. Bird, Dr. J, and Kareem had all retired by the time Jordan got his first chip. Magic was on the decline and had actually retired in 91 before coming back in 96. Worthy retired in 94 and was on the decline as well. As for the other great players you named, their teams weren't as good as GSW. Jordan faced Lakers, Trailblazers, Suns, Supersonics, and Jazz and to me none of those teams were better than GSW. If there was a comparable team back then I actually say the Bulls. As long as folks agree the GOAT is between Bron or Jordan I don't think we're wrong. Thus Bron is MY GOAT!
@pdawg694928 күн бұрын
Jordan will always be the GOAT for me. Lebron can win 2 more rings and I still wouldn’t classify him as the GOAT. For me it takes more than wins and stats to be the GOAT. It’s not always the accomplishment it’s how they were accomplished and no one ever did it like Jordan.

2021 Drafted right after the ECF. He should have backed up John Collins Day one. Him, Cooper, and Skyler should have got time day one. Nate brung in this Delon Wright and TLC playing guys in front of the guys that should have been developed. He played Delon Wright in front of Lou Williams. TLC in front of Cam. Nate destroyed the comradery of the team by doing this. I bought season tickets to see JJ back up Collins. Then Nate got Bey and played in front of JJ. Nate brought in DJ with the intent to replace Trae. Nate, DJ, Delon, Holiday, Bey, and TLC. All trash. Collins and JJ talent from day one was above Collins. But think they could have played together and got rid of Hunter. JJ at the 3 and Collins at 4. HE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED DAY ONE. ❤
@hertakesАй бұрын
Well said! As much as I was pulling for the brotha, Nate bit off more than he could chew. I don’t follow college basketball like I used to so I was clueless about JJ. The man is solid!!!
@GaryBrownlee-do4pjАй бұрын
I think he deserves a bag, but that puts pressure on him to perform, now between him, Trae and Bogie its about making the playoffs, not the play-in, but Quinn Snyder's game plan to out shoot every team doesn't work, please not another year of that, they don't have the shooters that the Celtics have. The top five teams in East play defense, with the exception of the Pacers, that pace is just to fast, defense is the key to the Hawks winning more games, still haven't missed Murray yet, somebody else needs to step up this year. 🤔✌️
@hertakesАй бұрын
Hopefully he can withstand the pressure.🤞🏽Unfortunately it’s already been reported that Quinn wants threes as a priority. And like you said outside of Trae and Bogie we’re just not a solidified 3pt shooting team. I can already see the advantages of moving away from Murray. I don’t miss him either. ✌🏽

Those Dawgs did their thang!!! Hope that the Falcons are able to capture a win against the Buccs! Idk what happened to us between the game against KC (only losing by 5 points) and the game where they looked so uncertain against the Seahawks? They need to work on penalties for sure, and how hard would an adjustment be for changing defensive schemes/plans?

Just found this one..... you are smooth as silk, that makes this very enjoyable. It's definitely a good take. And question, would you trade pitts given the chance to get a key rusher and a fair draft pick?
@hertakesАй бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I’m truly grateful. 🙏🏽 And yes I’d be all in on that trade. We are in a greater need for a key rusher. We already utilize Bijan, and Allgeier for short passing routes. We can utilize them a little more to help the 2nd string TE until we get another solid one. This is a great and tough question btw. I absolutely LOVE Pitts. Unfortunately, the TE position is interchangeable unless you got a Gonzalez, Gronk, Sharpe, or Kelce on your team. 😂

@Paula-mv8im17 күн бұрын
You don't think that having a bottom of the league pass protection in MN and bad defenses for most of his career had something to do with that??? Besides that, Kirk has been clutch since 2021. How many times did Kirk have the team in a position to win and the defense lost the game or the kicker missed? Or how about the 2022 playoffs? The 31st ranked defense (and the DC's awful soft scheme) allowed 31 points and 431 yards to a Giants team that was far from explosive and made Daniel Jones look like an All Pro QB.
