It always question me why the chef doesn't have any meat on him or why he always look sad. He's depressed, obviously, knowing his family situation but he was thin like that from the beginning. Then the big reveal is that he can't taste anything come like a wrecking ball.

By my experience about chinese food . My Grandma ,she always cooks everytime when my family visit her. Soup is first menu always when i'm sitting on table. Because Cantonese people believe what have nutrients everyting boiled in pot when you're eat soup from that . Yes, I'm family is from cantonese ancestor. 根據我對中國菜的經驗。我的奶奶，每次我家人來看她時，她總是會做飯。當我坐在桌子上時，湯總是第一菜單。因為廣東人相信，喝湯的時候，鍋子裡煮的東西都有營養。是的，我的祖先是廣東人。

as a person who loves and enjoy the flavor of foods or drinks I can understand what it's like to lost sense of taste. when I got hit by covid delta variant, I feel devastated. Fortunately, I regain my sense again after 3 months. I can't imagine to lost sense of taste for a decades.
