I know its old topic, but I just put Big Red in my Revo. My question is, after cutting back end of block mount and moving engine forward, is there enough space for pull start without cutting a arm? I did cut and move engine n transmission forward, Im just waiting on pull start to arrive and mail and eager to know, so seeing if you happened to know.

Hey man, I noticed you put a big red in your revo. I just bought that same engine for mine. Did you have to change anything with the bellhousing gear or pinion, and clutch or did you use the same ones off your revo?

Oh yeah it was definitely worth it and I still have it, I have more upgrades to come and have done a few to it already. Big fast and gets everyone's attention.

Nice system on your big block revo video how did you mount the ez start on the big red motor qhat do you have to modify to get it to work

It was a failed experiment, I wouldn't waste your time. But I welded the starter gear to a dremel bit shaft and used a dremel to start it. Drilled holes in the block for the ez start

Was this a motor swap and how hard was it?

Its a little tight near the shock towers and installing headers can be a pain but its not that bad really. Just remember to remove the flywheel spacer if you use a 6.0 lol
