I'm really enjoying this story; the sound design is excellent. I do have one question: at about the 24min mark the Doctor and the Master enter the Dalek ship, and the sound of their footsteps are... problematic. Why are there stairs in a Dalek ship?

Also Alistair Simm in the same year.

I appreciate their effort, but this production was weak and anemic.

This might be good, however, at the moment I do not have the time to listen to it. I am listening to an audiobook which still has 15 hours to go, my next is already lined up and that one is over 50 hours long, 6 books rolled into one. To me it is not Christmas unless you have seen a film of Scrooge and his miserly ways so I watched the George C Scott version two days ago of A Christmas Carol. I have subscribed and will listen to it at some point.

This is good well done

Other fandoms write fan fiction, some of it quite good. But this fandom? This fandom produces multi-episode full-cast audio dramas with participants chosen that sound quite close to the original actors and writing, music, and sound effects at a very high level. We are so lucky! Anyway, this was a wonderful production, and the actors portraying the Doctor and the Master in particular were just superb. Thank you!!!

37:05 Fezziwig in the book says, "Chirrup, Ebenezer!" This does not mean "cheer up," it's an onomatopoeic word based on the chirruping of a bird. It's just Fezziwig being ebullient. Besides, with Fezziwig about, nobody needs cheering up! 🙂

The voice acting is a little bit ropey in places but the authenticity of the dialogue is top notch and more than compensates. “You do not have a monopoly on idealism.” Is such a perfect line for the Delgado Master, brilliant!

I'm not a great fine if fan audios...but this is damn good. ..just need to fine tune the voices but the idiosyncrasies of all major characters well brought. Congratulations to all of you. Is there anymore?

Amazing and bittersweet ending...the Master did get what he wanted in the end, even if he was not in the best of conditions. Still, he was consistent throughout, as usual. As usual, I adore Sarah's little rants with the men in her life thing that she will be in danger...when she is constantly facing one thing or another :)

What a cliffhanger (poor, poor Mike, he must be especially susceptible). Interesting to see the Time Lords intervening (only they could have transported Jo from the Amazon that fast after all) to ensure the secondary explosion did not ensure the Master's plan succeeded. On that note, the whole exchange on the clothes was fantastic. He flat out rejected his future successor's clothes (though not the candy) and instead opted for another :)

The Master once again showing his talents at the long con. Its like watching a game of chess, only each player is thinking 10 or 15 steps ahead. And I had to laugh when Sarah remarked how many miles of corridors they have traversed...and she is absolutely right :)

and several peoples true colors show. Typical. They really bided their time!

Another excellent installation. The conversations between Doctor and Master and Benton and Yates were unique (and wistful in what happened in the wake of Operation Golden age). Looking forward to seeing my hunch about the mole in the lab being right, too. :)

I came here out of curiosity and am officially hooked. The early shows were magical for me, and Pertwee era in particular stood out for many reasons. A wonderful homage to those we have lost :)
