Making use of resources whether rng or not to win is also a skill. Most players even with the same or better garbage luck wouldn't be able to utilise it well enough
@p.hammernick527710 ай бұрын
I think the strategy is quite simple to illustrate though. Probably, you can hold the bot until 2-3 mins for the garbage multiplier, and then in the end time a burst spike to the bot, which the bot will not be able to get out of without a bold defense.
@nazunasapostle1stapostleof75510 ай бұрын
@@p.hammernick5277 yea simple but not easy to pull off since the bot is cruising at 2pps and burst speed is probs around 3pps. The bot is better at using multipliers as well. Only advatage we humans have is timing which becomes less significant the faster the bot plays

31:30 So what's the advantage of creating an SMBT here when you could also use that S-prop pattern that Promo did earlier? It also leaves a fairly clean stack.
@Invictrix10 ай бұрын
It doesn't immediately lead into another TSD, but it does lead into a TST.

@@Invictrix flatter upstack for more tsds, s prop here gives a bit spiky stack that is a bit hard to resolve, but easy enough to resolve (your solution is fine)

Yeah, I definitely need to improve my lookahead. My brain just blanks out if I try to look further than 3 pieces ahead when not in the opener phase.

Great guide, much appreciated. Circulation did a similar guide on how to analyze top players' replays, but this one does a better job explaining the thought process. I think the hardest part about Tetris is learning the best stacks to build in any given situation. People like me might be able to see the correct solution, but we also see incorrect solutions, and often opt for one of them because they seem better in the moment. I guess learning the correct ones comes with practice, and lookahead.
