Ya i used the textures from it pretty heavily. The skeleton mesh is also modified from that.

I don't know what's happening, when I start it it tells me that the emulation is in an infinite loop and that the rom will close, but I have downloaded the latest version of the ultimate trial, apart from having the 1.0 of oot and patching it as is in the video

I think this is because you have the .n64 rom and need a .z64 1.0 rom file. Had a couple people with the same issue, that said this was causing that issue.

Great tutorial! Easy to use and finding answers in the comments especially the advanced settings part. I am running into a problem where I start the game and I’m able to get to the stronghold entrance but once I try to go in where I’m supposed to the game crashes. Any advice?

I know a lot of people are having trouble finding the right rom. I can not legally provide you with a rom. So I am not going to, I don’t get paid to do this , so it’s not worth the risk of messing with Nintendo. I have however googled it and there are still places you can find them. I am not condoning this method as downloading is illegal.

I have helped a lot of people with this videos without breaking guide lines, which if you’re making content on any platform you should strive to follow the rules. It’s not my fault that you can’t locate a rom that I can with in 5 minutes on google.

You need the rom file that has “.Z64” at the end not “.N64” if you have that I’m not sure exactly what the problem could be.

You need your rom to have “.Z64” at the end of the file not “.N64” so you’ll need to source a different rom file or you have the wrong version of the game because ocarina has 3 1.0 1.1 and 1.2

Wasn't it recently discovered that there is a huge security risk with using PJ64? I think there may have been other emulators with the same issue but I can't recall. I would look into this before using it. EDIT: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKK4ioGPjLWfprM You need to be mindful of which version you have I suppose but I recommend watching this breakdown.

Yeah only 1.6 and below, that's why I show people were to get it, and to downloaded the latest version. I feel like you would have to be holding on to project 64 1.6 for a really really long time for this to be an issue, it's important to upgrade software when you notice a new version.
