Thank you for that. I give it a try. I changed out the plastics, so it seems like I have a bit of space for a larger or longer filter. Quite honestly, I just want to know that the filter is doing it's job. I expect this to be one of my last street bikes.

- I appreciate the input. This was meant as a quick fix for the person on a budget. Most of us have a can or two of WD-40. I found in most cases it lasts about 3-4 weeks depending on the lenses, sometimes longer. Also Deet works well (bug spray). I would agree, polishing the lenses and sealing them is the best option. I would not call it stupid if it works.

Whynot just spend $30and do it the right way: 600 800 1000 1500, polish with 3m plastic/chemical guys headlight, finish with meguaires. That will actually fix the problem of the light refraction - that’s what causes the glare. “Just” spraying deet while a fun exercise, won’t actually serve any longterm purpose because the light will fog back up… I am continually baffled as to why people have decided to throw random chemicals on headlights rather than do them the correct way and be done with it for a few years. The headlight restoration pro - go there. You will find him entertaining as well as informative… and the LONGTERM results = amazing. Personally I would start with a PROPER morimoto d2s 5.0 retrofit, black out the chrome… then refinish the outside. Spending money on real/actual performance is worth it…

Thank you for the comment. This is not a permanent fix. The video was not intended to be that. It is a quick fix for anybody that has foggy headlights. WD-40 or Bug Repellant are household items that are typically readily available and it is an easy application. Anybody on a budget could use this to get a bit more light out of their current situation. Again that is all the video was intended to do. I do agree with you. I will make adjustments on my next video and address the advantage of a more permanent fix.

Does your machine ruin/damage your footballs?
@burdman480
@burdman480 Жыл бұрын
Yes, you will start to break down the balls. It is important to use good balls and not just the cheapest ones available. Use balls that you would use in practice. You have to remember that when using these machines they give your the reps they need to create muscle memory. That is where the value comes into play. You literally cannot have QB throw as many passes as this thing can do in an hour.

@burdman480
@burdman480 3 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. I say that depends on what type of riding you are doing. Heat, cold, water, sand, and so on also contribute to the break down of the oil. Some say 20 hours is a good round number. I say base it on how you ride. If you ride for a mile and it takes you a couple minutes, that is a lot different than riding for an hour and traveling the same distance. Technical riding is a lot harder on your bide than "cruising". Hope that helps. Good luck. BTW - Both are great bikes.
