When tackling something like Pd, (or Max/Msp, if you have Ableton & Max for Live you are a little further ahead than you think, or even Reaktor {I still haven’t upgraded to Reaktor 6 yet}) for the first time, start off building something simple. Doing something like this, is the equivalent of starting to swim…in the middle of the ocean… or doing the Tour de France…after riding a bicycle for 3 weeks. Luckily there are tons of tutorials on how to make Pure Data work the way you want it to work.

Do you intend to share it somehow? It's awesome!
@atarirob5 ай бұрын
PurrData is free, so you can always build something like this yourself. edit: built in PlugData, my bad. Also free though :)
@adeniranbalthazar57005 ай бұрын
@@atarirob yea, all the creative coding and FOSS art scene has a huge community around it that has sharing as a one of its cores. Not saying that everyone is obliged to share neither they must do it for free, just saying it is a common practice, like VCV Rack challenges for instance. This is why something like patchstorage exists. Sharing is as valuable as starting from scratch

I would absolutely watch tutorials, even with just DeepL translated subtitles, it would be good enough to follow what's going on
